I'll be the biggest alabama hater not just because they are filled with a bunch of you know what! But Nick Saban is right there with them!!

First off, Im a Gator fan, so I want Florida to beat them like every other SEC team. But since Ive understood that Bama really gets pissy when Auburn beats them, Ill be rooting for Auburn to kick their butt every year!

What Dolphins fan ISN'T rooting against Bama next year?

Behind the Canes, Auburn is my new favorite team. I can't believe Saban had the nerve to use RIcky WIlliams as an excuse... then over exaggerating Ronnie Brown's injury, and THEN Blaming losses on Daunte's injury. He freaking knew Daunte might not be ready for the season opener, he had a whole offseason to find a backup qb. I gave that man the benifit of the doubt the whole damn season. Two things we will never have to see again are his Antoin Walker like clapping and his panzy redflag tosses. He threw that thing like he was a two yr old girl playing the ringtoss game at the local fair.

This Dolphins fan... before anyone questions my loyalties, let me just say that I loved Nick Saban when he was here and I believed he would have turned this team around...however, I understand his reasons for leaving, I say only good things for him and wish him luck at Alabama... while I thought he WOULD turn the team around, an arguement can be made we arn't any better off now than we were when he got here, so his departure opens up a door of opportunities for the team... we've got all three first day picks for the first time in years, a chance to bring in a bright young (or old, lol) mind and get this franchise up and running again...Saban made his decision, its in the past, and now hopefully Wayne and Co. will get this ship back on course:wink:

Thank you, we don't need to hate him, he left with good reason he isn't a NFL coach let him do what he enjoys. I understand why he would have lied to the press about his choice to leave, thats a big thing to think about he probably didn't know what he wanted and if he did why come out and tell everyone before the last game of the season? so the team came bash him while he is still there? He FAILED to become a good NFL coach PERIOD, atleast he tried. He doesn't deserve hatred from his former fans he is still a well respected coach in college and thats where he should stay.

My only disappointment with all of this is that it's turning so many Dolphins fans on here into Auburn fans.

Auburn: :barf:

GEAUX LSU!!!

well said...everyone is so quick to shout "but he LIED TO US" and such... to that I ask "what did you expect?"...seriously, assuming he even knew that he was leaving for Bama, who in their right mind would seriously just come out before their last few games and admit that to the media and fans? he would have been ridiculed and flamed even more than people are doing to him now, and I dont think that ANYONE on this board can claim they would have done anything different at the same risk of public humiliation...Saban went with his heart...its over Fin Fans... time to move on and win us some championships

What did I expect????

Well....perhaps some tact and profesionalism, honesty, some integrity perhaps?

Come out and say, "Look, the rumours that 'bama have approached me are correct, however we still have two games to play here and that's what I'm 100% devoted to. If I do decide to go and talk to them, it will be with the blessing of the Miami Dolphins and if that is not forthcoming then I will happily continue on as I have done the past two years. I realise that many people wouldnt be happy if it so happened that I was offered a position elsewhere, but when you think about it, I have a family to provide for that are the number one priority in my life...I hope you can understand that and think the majority of people would say the same thing. Thats all there is to say at this point, so I'll leave it at that and if the situation changes down the track we can talk about it then".

Thats all he had to say.

But no, he couldnt handle the pressure and lied to ME.....he lied to YOU too.

Good luck to the Saban family. They can do what they please now.

One disappointed Fin fan here, but looking forward to the future. :dolphins:
