Saban seems lost without a good offensive coordinator. I think it's becoming readily apparent just why Linehan was down on the sidelines last year. Sabans offensive inneptitude has proven that this year without Linehan here. So far this year Linehan as HC of the Rams is 5-1, Saban as HC of the Phins is 1-5. Linehan comes out of the booth last year and the players bypassing Saban dealing directly with Linehan pull off a miraculous winning streak and turn around a dismal season leading to predicitions of making a run for the SuperBowl the next year. When in fact those SuperBowl dreams seemed to have left with Linehan and followed him to San Diego.

Saban's offensive stance seems to be "take what the defense gives you" when was the last time you've seen a winning team built around a gameplan that lets the other team dictate the way that you play? Because that is exactly what we are doing right down to the amount of points they are allowing us to score. Winners dont let their opposition dictate the way they play winners play the way they want to play, the way they need to play, to WIN.

The players just have no respect for Saban or Mularkey. They look like they dont even want to be on the field, it is only when we go to a no huddle and the players are left out there on their own that this offense comes alive and shows what kind of talent they are capable of providing. When your team performs better without their leader calling the shots you have a problem folks.

Hindsight and all I really think we would have been a contendor this year if we would have taken Linehan instead of Saban as our HC last year, the talent is there unfortunately the winning attitude is not. We need to find a coach that can tap into the talent and let these players play the way they want to play instead of a coach that lets other teams dictate the way they play.

The playcalling sucked again today!

I watched the Jets and how their offense was run and I couldn't help but think, damn how come the dolphins can't be that way? Our offensive game play is ALWAYS vanilla. On short yardage situations we aren't able to pick em up, and it wasn't just this game either. I think the pieces are there, but the play calling is bad. I saw a few times when the ball was being run well, instead of calling a play action, they either kept running the ball, or threw the ball without using play action. I think Saban is losing control of the team this season.

Exactly, the reason we never got anything going until the fourth quarter was because we we're following the Jets lead. Taking what they would give us. They want us to run we run, they want us to pass we pass. They dictated the way we played until the no huddle took over in the fourth quarter and the players played the way they wanted to play instead of letting the defense dictate the way they play.

This is exactly what i'm talking about, winning is all about having things play out the way you want them to play out and as long as you are letting someone else dictate the way things play out you will never succeed.

When your this bad it's a combination of coaching and lack of talent. 6 dropped passes all at critical moments (1 resulting in a pic), fumble, penalty and nothing from Morris, Joey can't / won't run as an added dimension, we can only run the ball to the right, etc. When you combine that with Mularkey's playcalling it's an incendiary mix! (Hey Mark, chicks dig the long ball!!!)

Whoever Created This Post I Am Sorry But It Is The Most Preposterous Post Of All Time. First Of Line Hane Is Caoch Of The Rams Not The Chargers, Secondly They Are 4-2 Not 5-1, Thirdly Linehan Never Even Had A Chance Or Was Considered To Eb The Head Coach Over Saban. Yes I Agree They Miss Him But This Post Has A Lot Of Incorrect Information In It!

It's not a lack of talent, when the team can go out there on their own and score 14 points in 12 minutes while only scoring 3 points for the first 48 minutes under the coaches it says to me that the talent is there. these guys might not be the most talented in the league but they are talented enough to have beat every team we have played so far this year. Poor coaching has led to an unprepared or just downright defiant team that would rather win on their own than give the coaches any credit IMO there is no other reasonable explanation I can come up with to understand this.
