Who forgives ricky for what he did?

This will always have two sides, one for Ricky, and the other one not for Ricky.

But there is a middle way -- for the team! If ricky can regain his skills and prove his worth than I will have no probem with this. If not, cut him. This is about value and not about his personality. As a fan I won't necessarily be as excited about his successes and don't feel any particular loyalty to him. I will miss Surtain. If they trade Ricky, I won't miss him. Not to say if he really really proves himself I can't find it in my heart to forgive him and enjoy his football presence. But for now, if he is good for the team I will happily watch him play. If he is more valuable as trade fodder, trade him. I am neither for nor against him beyond his usefulness.

Other than that, the passions will roar. I applaud your broadminded approach.

I just don't want him to be a bad role model for Ronnie! As far as I am concern show Ricky the door, and don't let it hit 'em where the good lord split him!

I see your point. But to me that is not a deal breaking problem. It is a coaching question. If Saban and the RB coach are worth anything they will help him.

Agreed, if Ricky is open to help, and wants to get his life on the right track.

ME!!!!!!

I thank him!!!!!!

If he played we would have been 8-8 or 9-7 and picking to late to improve our team and RW told Robert Smith in June of 04 that he was going to retire after 04.

So we would be in the RB mess this year and Wanny may still be here!!!!
Fiedler could still be on the roster, and wanny would have gave a 1st and 3rd for Henry, knowing Ariz best offer was a 4th.

Thanks RW that was the best thing you could have done for us Fin Fans'!!
You paid the ultimate sacrifice in sake of "US" "the fans".

Everyone makes mistakes... also if it was not for ricky we probaully would not have saban...and Ronnie Brown...

That too ;)

But I was referring to your concern about RW being a role model for Ronnie Brown. I was saying that keeping any possible bad influences of Ricky's from Ronnie should be something the coaches can handle. Assuming of course that is even a real problem.

Do you live by the NFL standards guidebook or something?? Geez I think it's time for your random urine test Doc.

I don't, but that's irrelevant because I'm not an NFL player (although there was a really intriguing rumor going around my college that the reason I was in a wheelchair was a junior high football accident).

BTW ... you wanna hold the cup?
