Oakland is going for either a QB or WR with the #1 pick. My guess would be the WR from Georgia Tech because Jerry Porter and Randy Moss both figure to be gone after this season.

josh beekman guard from bc more than likely we will have a high draft pick and i would like to move down and pickup another 2nd or third so we can get another lineman, jordan palmer or palko and with beekman he may not be rated the best but he is very good

Oakland is high on Andrew Walter. Don't know why, he looks like the next Bledsoe. Wouldn't doubt if they go for Joe Thomas. They really need to build that offensive line.

Right now we would pick before Tennessee based on our strength of schedule (we've played weaker teams. Head-to-head doesn't matter) and the fact that Tennessee won today.

The Raiders O-line is worse than ours and Art Shell (provided he's still there next year) will go offensive line first since he's a former O-lineman himself and wants to run the ball. That LT position has been a real glaring need for them which is why I think they take Joe Thomas first.

Personally I don't think this is all bad. If we end up with the 2nd pick again and Oakland has the first pick (this is all hypothetical) and they do take Thomas then the value of our pick increases dramatically for those teams wanting Brady Quinn. The thing is this year the draft has more impact players coming out verse 2005 when we drafted 2nd. That increases the value of early picks and gives us a chance to trade down and get a lot of picks in return....and let's face it we have a lot of holes to fill and we need to get younger fast. Especially on defense.
