Smith- Falcons
Sparano- Dolphins
Harbaugh- Ravens

Ravens and Falcons have rookie coaches with rookie QB's?

I vote for Sparano if we beat the Jets and take the division. I will vote for Sparano anyways since we sucked last year.
I kept Tomlin, Belicheat, and Coughlin off the poll as I think 1 of the 3 in the poll will win it.

i honestly think they'll split it between sparano and smith.

They both clearly deserve it.

I vote for Smith and you can really make a case for any of them. Sparano probably deserves it just as much but because Smith has a roookie QB he will get the nod. Its not Sparanos fault we have Chad tho, the Falcons could have signed him too so it really shouldnt matter but thats how it is.

who ever makes it deeper in the post season

All are very deserving. But I do not believe Sparano will win. I think too much credit will be given to Parcells for the turnaround. At least as it pertains to the coach of the year award. So it comes down to Smith and Harbaugh. Harbaugh walked into a team that had a great defense and was no where near in as much disarray as the Falcons. So I think that Smith will win it. And he probably is most deserving of it.

Yea u gotta throw Jeff Fisher and probably Belicheat also, if John Fox wins that game last night, he is another candidate.

I dunno, I still gotta say Sparano . . . the Fins were 1-15 last year, if they win this division next week . . . I don't see how u can pick against him.

1. Tony Sparano (He IMO needs to win the division, but if he does that next week AT the Jets . . . I don't see any possible way that he doesn't get this award . . . from 1-15 to 11-5 . . . division champs . . . that is COY material at it's finest. Plus the players LOVE him.)

2. Mike Smith (7 game turnaround so far . . . amazing with all the problems this team at the end of last year. The Matt Ryan pick was genius . . . and so was the Michael Turner FA pickup. He has this team playing real quality football, and has a chance at a BYE next week with a Carolina loss and a ATL win. Vick who? . . . Could easily win this award as much as Sparano with the job he has done.)

3. Jeff Fisher (He probably needed to go undefeated or atleast 15-1 to win this thing . . . that's not gonna happen, but lets not take away from the job he has done . . . with Kerry Collins and 2 young RB's . . . and a young defense that looks stellar . . don't know if they are the best team but they have the best record.)

4. Bill Belichek (As much as I hate to admit, with a aging defense that lost most of their secondary from last season and lost the MVP Tom Brady . . . Bill has his team looking like last years team . . . they will be dangerous if they sneak in the playoffs)

5. John Harbaugh (this is not a slap in the face to John, incredible job, but when u have the Ravens defense . . . they have proven they can win w/o a quality QB . . . the fact that Flacco seems like a quality QB is just added fire to a team that was already solid and can beat anybody on any given day with that defense.)

it's been a great year for coaching, and i think Sparano or Smith are both equally deserving.

I hate to say this, but don't forget about Steven Spielberg(Bielicheat) in New England, he's done a good job without Brady, and the press seems to be giving him alot of credit for that.

I don't see how it wouldn't be Sparano. It isn't a homer pick by any means. The fella led the Phins to the best turnaround in NFL history. That alone should give him the award.

Atlanta is another great story and they should be a great team in the coming years but they did win 4 games last year. Sure it isn't much but the turnaround just isn't as astonishing
