Who had the worst draft ?

I think Cinci is up there, what were they thinking with J.Simpson before Sweed, Kelly and Jackson.

Balt is a close second to me, they reached huge for Flacco and then a RB in the 2nd when there's really still no real WR's on their team.

Houst reached big time for D.Brown.

Duane Brown had no business going in the first round whatsoever, Houston clearly reached for him. Tennessee had it's choice of any WR they wanted and instead reached badly for Chris Johnson, I think he'll be a bust. I would say one of those two.

Well u gotta remember they got 2 firsts this year . . . and they moved up like 20 sumthin spots . . . . If Otah becomes their stud LT . . .then the trade was worth it. Stewart IMO is the most complete back in this draft . . . hell of a prospect . . . he is only missing that top end "Mcfadden" speed . . . but he will be sensational for Carolina . . . Otah is a monster. The way teams reached for Cherilus, Baker and Brown . . . this doesn't seem too bad.

i had Dwane in the late 1st, early 2nd range so I don't really see that as a stretch. We even brought him in to scout him. Chris Johnson was def a reach and Tenn pulled an us of last year with the first head scratcher of the draft

The way teams reached for Cherilus, Baker and Brown . . . this doesn't seem too bad.

These were some of the biggest shocks to me when I was watching the first round, I couldn't believe my ears when I heard Cherilus's name called.

I actually called him going in the late first early this morning in the chat, but the Texans did get screwed. They wanted Williams, then they wanted Jenkins, they got neither.


I like Chris Johnson, but he was not BPA, and it tells me that the Tenn offense will be really dummied down.

I question the Skins taking 3 recievers (even if one is a TE)

The Lions failed again. Trade down, get more picks plus Rashard Mendenhall=good. Trade down, get more picks, pass on Mendenhall and then pick JOrdan Dizon who many felt was a late rounder at best=bad.

If you watched any Hokie football the past two years, you would not think so highly of him. He was a solid third round prospect.

But I generally don't buy into grades this early. Miami has been voted the worse drafting team over the last five years by a lot of media outlets. And rightfully so given what is on the team at present.

The worst thing about Cinci is if they actually let C.Johnson sit and not trade him to improve your team. I wouldn't want to let the inmates to run the prison but if he sits and then you trade him you'll get no value for him.

Did you see any `Skins games last year? They need WR`s badly.

In the West Coast offense, the wide receiver position always draws plenty of attention. Santana Moss remains an elite-level receiver, but his numbers have dipped slightly since his breakout season in 2005.
Their coach clearly went on record as saying that a tall, rangy wide receiver was a need position for the Redskins this year. Santana Moss and Antwaan Randle El are speedsters who can get open deep, but the West Coast offense also relies on tall, rangy receivers who can grab short passes and use their strength for yards after the catch.

The Redskins have an established tight end in Chris Cooley. He should be a force on offense for years to come. Yoder is a solid backup who has played in the West Coast offense before, so he should transition well to the offense Jim Zorn implements this year.
Now they have to fill the gaps they have in the OL and DL.
