Who Has #1 Defense In The NFL?

why are so many ppl still riding the bucs band wagon? i jus don't get it. What is wrong with our front seven that makes the panthers front 7 better then ours. yea i'll take their DT's, but i'll take our ends. I don't kno their linebackers, but there aren't too many mlb's i'll take over zack. And junior is coming around. Our secondary is soooo good that even if our d line is weaker then alot of teams our defense over all is better.

between the bucs and phins, which team has more sacks and ints? anyone have that answer?
 
The Bucs D looked good until they keeled over breathless in the 4th quarter. A little endurance training might be beneficial.

Miami looks the best I have seen so far this year. (If you don't count the Texans)

I call it going after the new CB that replaced Ben Kelly and spanking him so bad his rear will be purple for a week. That injury cost them the game.
 
Ok somone said that the bucs was a "freak occurance". ok fine we'll give em one "freak occurance" and we'll say the texans game was a "freak ocurance". We've still been shutting down offensive minded teams. Jets 10pts. Bills 7 pts (but was a defensive td). Gaints 10 pts. Are we not leading the league in team ints?
 
Don't forget the giants drove a whopping 16 yards for their only TD.

umm yea...... believe it or not, they suck..... OMG i swear the Miami Hurricanes could beat them right now!!! I mean honesly if you lose to the browns you must really suck. I'm sorry but i gotta talk **** cuz both my teams are badass!!!!

CANES= 5-0 (I HAVE TO LIKE THEM, WHERE DO YOU THINK THE COLTS GOT JAMES AND WAYNE FROM???)
 
This subject for some reason always seems to find it's way back onto the board. We have a good to great at times Defense. It seems to be coming together well and hopefully will only get better. It still dosen't compare to the Bucs IMO. We never have year after year after year. The Buc D is dominant and in a league of it's own. The Bucs had one flame out and chances are very high that you won't see any more of those. The Panthers seem to have developed that type of D so far...... we'll see how long it lasts though. The Fins have a whole season to prove they have hit the Bucs or Ravens level. Only then will the comparison be deserved.

Think of it this way.....
If you had the ability to start a new team and pick the defense of any team in the NFL you wanted...... You had one year to make a run and your butt was on the line, which of you would REALLY pick the Fins D over the Bucs? I would'nt.

Right now IMO it's Carolina and Miami. They are both tied for #1 in the NFL in points allowed per game with 12 PPG.

That is the most important stat as far as defense goes IMO.
