I know we haven't had any real good QB's here since marino... but out of the list of guys we've had who has been the most consistent QB...in other words.. Who has been the best QB here since # 13....

My opinion..may seem funny ..but I think jay fiedler.. Just kuz he was the last one to take us to the postseason...

Your opinions.....

For entertainment value it would have to be Ray Lucas. I laughed, I cried....

Not even close, Jay Fiedler. He was the only one to be the opening day starting QB for more than one year. :boohoo:

Jay Fiedler with out a doubt... although I would have put Sage Rosenfels in the starting line up, maybe Damion Huard but I guess thats why I sit here and others get paid big bucks

Jay Fiedler. Say what you will, the man had a win percentage over .700. I don't care that the defense was great back then, they still lost games when Fiedler wasn't in at QB, so Fiedler was definitely doing some things right.

IMO. Statistically yes, but I still remember Fiedler turning the ball over constantly and letting our still GREAT defense taking care of business. :)

The one thing Fiedler didnt do was turn the ball over. He was by far the best we have had. Look no further than Dave Wandstedt if you want to know why we are where we are today. The guy was an idiot!!!! Never had ANY depth on defense and that was what prevented us from going further. Went into every year with three linebackers. Stupid move not to resign Terrell Buckley and instead waste a draft pick on Fletcher. Then Ray Lucas - give me a break (another Cleo Lemon) the idiot thought he was a starter. Wandstedt needed to bring in somebody that was the CLEAR backup, and he knew his role as the BACKUP!!! Lucas cost us that season. We were the best team in the league that year. Just no depth to survive injuries.

Fiedler. Not even close. In fact, Fiedler was probably Miami's most successful starter behind Marino and Griese.

Knock fiedler all u want, sure he didn't have a strong arm and sure he made bonehead mistakes but simple matter of fact is that the man GAVE IT ALL. He put his *** on the line week in and week out with no weapons(other than ricky for 2 yrs). and he STILL WON GAMEs.

People want to play the ole' well we were a dominant defense! thats why we won! but still, look @ 2006? we had a dominant defense, DPOY in JT and we only won 6 games. we havent sniff'd at the playoffs since fiedler left...

Anyone remember the sunday night game when fielder led put mare in position with a broken thumb for a 54 yard field goal in the snow mile high stadium for the win? thats fiedler in a nutshell. won't win it for you, but will give u a chance & do everything he can.

I'm gonna have to say Fiedler just because the guy played his heart out here.

That being said, i think that huard should have been given the starting job after Dan left. Wanny screwed that up big time. Huard wasn't great but, i think that he was better than Fiedler at the time. Especially seeing him almost 7 years later in KC and do a fairly good job after Trent went down. I mean hell, he had the Marino stamp of aproval for the position, doesn't that count for something?

Fielder was great here, a true heart of a champ. He knew that he wasn't the most talented quaterback in the league, but he's one of those guys that made up for it with heart.
