In 2007 with the 9th pick in the draft Miami selected Tedd Ginn Jr. (and his family, LOL)
Ginn came in and put up 2086 all purpose yards and 3 TD's in his 1st season with Miami
It took him 7 games to break into the starting lineup as a receiver.
The next season he put up as many receiving yards as return yards as his return roles were decreased and receiver roles increased.
But only 4 total TD's in 2008. We all know the rest.
After 7 plus years Ginn has 10916 all purpose yards and 20 Total TD's
In 2014 with the 63 pick in the draft Miami selected Jarvis Landry.
Landry is on pace to put up 1924 all purpose yards and 2 TD's in his 1st season with Miami
It took him 4 games to break into starting lineup as a receiver
Pretty similar starts so far except for the draft position.
Who will end up being better when it is all said and done?
