At CB Smith or Davis, in you opinion who is going to be better..

Do you think Clemons can fix our Saftey woes ??
 
IMO, they're both looking like eventual shut down corners. Smith has played more consistently since camp, but I think Vontae's coming along just fine. We shall see..

Sean Smith has already shown he is a very good corner, he has out played will allen so far. As far as a "shutdown" corner smith has the higher ceiling.
Davis seems like he is a hard hitter and he is VERY good against the run. Davis is also a better blitzer than smith with a little more speed. so take it for what it is but, I think smith is better for now!

and clemmons cant get activated on game days so im not sure about him, But Culver seems to be playing better against the pass than any other safety/lber
 
I really think Clemons is a ball hawk. You saw what he did in the preseason. He's got speed and strength with a VERY good nose for the ball. I think that Wilson's "experience" is what is keeping him on the field. I think he knows the defense better than Clemons.

I fully expect that to be a dangerous trio as quick as maybe even next year. Clemons, Smith & Davis will be very effective backfield soon.

I Agree Culver Favors A Young Bell When He Burst On The Seen Pickin Tom Brady. Culver Really Has Ballhawk Skills And Will Tackle. I Also Heard Clemmons Deliver A "whoo Hit"( Ray Rhodes Famous Line To Ronnie Lott When The Crowd Goes Whoo!) On Patrick Cobbs In Practice. Wilson And Bell Are Good At Tackling Ball Carriers But Not In Coverage All That Good. Sean Smith Is Like Deion And Vontae Is Like Rod Woodson. Smith Will Hit But He Can Press Like Hell I Would Have Him Do That Every Play And Vontae Is Coming On Real Strong I Think His Progress Is Vastly Underated, He Is The Truth. Davis Got A Pick Six In The Nfl Thatsnot Easy, The Same Way Wake Got Three Sacks, Imo He Should Start On The Stronside With Jt On The Weak And Porter Lurking Like A.j.duhe To Form A Hybrid 46 What I Like To Call A 55. I Would Have To Say Wake Has The Most Potential He Is A Beast And Thats Saying Something With Our New Sam Madison And Patrick Surtain Look For Sacks To Go Up And One Other Thing, I Would Have Put Jason Allen Head Up On Dallas Clark And Any Other Pass Catching Sob Of A Tightend That Gives Us Trouble He Is Fast As Hell And He Can Recover On A Tight End If He Is Pressing!!!!
 
Smith...just based on his physical size. Davis will be limited by his. If both played with equal skills, Smith be better just due to his physical attributes.

I can't say what Clemons will bring to the table...we haven't seen enough of him.
 
who is going to be better, who knows...

but i think Smith has the higher ceiling just because of his measurements... his size makes the potential for him even higher because of the things he can do with it... if he has blanket coverage on a receiver and a QB tries to throw it his way, at 6'4" the potential for an INT is even greater than if he was 6'0" because he can get his hands on more balls...

so his CEILING is higher to me... but i think they will both be great, im very excited by the 2 of them...
 
Davis is the more explosive athlete, but Smith's grace - especially at his size - is amazing.

Love 'em both.

I'd actually be interested to see if CK's opinion on Davis has at all changed. I remember he had Smith and Jenkins rated ahead of Vontae. For my money, anyway, we got the two best CB's in the draft.
 
i think Davis is going to be the better CB in the NFL he is quicker stronger better against the run the only big diffrence between the two is there Size but i think they are going to both be very good CB for the dolphins for many Years

Maybe im retarded but I'm having a lot of trouble reading this post. It f's with my eyes. I Think Sean Smith Has The Highest Ceiling, I Think He Will Be In The NFL Elite Soon,
 
I like what i see from both of them already, were in good hands with Davis/Smith :)

Smith is a freak but I dont think Davis is limited at all its not like he is 5'9 or something and the guy is built like a SS.
 
Well Vontae is improving i think we will be like the Chargers they have a very physical corner in Jammer on the left side and a finess intercepting everything type on the right Cromatie. I think that is what we have a hard hitting Vontae who still needs more experience to coverage. and an awesome lockdown cover in Smith so I think they both should be great for us for the next decade hopefully. Also remember Vontae is already rich and Smith is playing for the real money I think Smith is more hungry.
