We have a good amount of free agents this off season, and a lot of guys that have baggage either do to age or injuries. Some of these guys I can not imagine playing anywhere else. Who does everyone think will be back and who does everyone think is the most important player to resign?

Free Agents:
Jason Taylor
Chad Pennington
Ronnie Brown
Ricky Williams
Will Allen
Anthony Fasano
Davone Bess

Ronnie and Bess are restricted, and I do not see anyone giving up draft picks for either, so as long as we offer them contracts I think they both will be back.

I think Brown is the most important player on this list. He is such a smart player, never fumbles, and is the wild cat. We have been a differint team since he went down. The problem it seems he can not make it through a season with out going on the IR. His reduced speed, and inability to finish the season makes it tough to pay him to much, but should prohibit others from making big offers.

The player I want resigned just because he is one of my favorite players of all time is Ricky. I can not imagine him going anywhere else, and I just got his jersey so I want one more season out of it.

The player I think we need to say goodbye to is Jason Taylor. That is hard for me to say as when Dan retired JT became my favorite player. In his prime he was a manster, and was the heart and soul of our defense that kept us competitive from 1999-2003, but his age has made him a liability against the run, and he has hit a wall this year, as he became invisible after the Jets game until last week against the Titans. He is also standing in the way of Anderson and Wake from emerging.

It is hard to imagine Fasano and Pennington being resigned. I would like Allen to come back if the coaching staff thinks he can overcome his injury, and return at a high level. This secondary needs a leader, and a dependable player. It may be a better option to keep Davis, Smith, and Jones, as our top 3 CBs and let Allen go, and go after a a FS who could be a leader and make some plays in the passing game.

Will Allen was extended during the offseason, he will be back.

Ricky and Ronnie are both under contract (tho Ronnie's is tricky with the capped/uncapped crap) . . . I expect both back.

Bess is restricted, I expect him back.

Fasano's stock definitely has dipped this year . . . if we can sign him to a reasonable contract, I think he is a solid TE, solid blocker. He was a Parcells pick and we traded for him. If I had to guess . . . he will be back.

JT will be tricky, but for some reason I think he would come back for one more season . . . I think the Fins will have him for a similar contract that he signed in May.

Pennington IMO will only be back as a coach, but he wont be a QB on the Fins next year.

I think Nate Jones is a FA, and I would like to see him back also.

Didnt Will Allen sign a Contract extension last summer for 3 more years. Also Ricky signed a contract extension last summer for the 2010 season.

However, I think Bess, Fasano and Brown are three that are coming back for sure.

Taylor a maybe and Pennington is basically gone unless he wants to be a backup.

First, your info is WAAAAAAAYYY off. Will Allen is "not" a FA whatsoever, he signed a 4 year extension before this season. Secondly, Ronnie Brown is under contract if the CBA is not signed. Its an exception in his contract.

Thirdly, Davone Bess in "not" a RFA, he is an ERFA. He just needs to be tendered and no other team can sign him.

Fourthly, Ricky Williams is signed through 2010 and said he will retire after that.

That leaves Pennington (who I want re-signed), Fasano (bye, bye), JT, (I want him re-signed too), the one you left out, Nate Jones. Not sure what happens to him. Also, I believe Culver is a RFA...um, bye bye and find our starting FS.

My bad...I got the list from apparently the worst web site ever.

I am glad Ricky is coming back!!! If it is an uncapped year who will get the axe to avoid having the cap penalty? I would think Porter and Ginn.

The individual that I believe will be long gone isn't a F/A or anything like that. GIBRIL WILSON flat out sucks as a FS. I can't complain TOO MUCH about him as a SS. So, the only way he stays is if (a) he's content w/backing up BELL; and (b) he beats out CULVER (which may not happen!).

The Triumverate isn't afraid to let ANYONE go. This pre-season, it was WILFORD, even though it cost MIAMI money. WILSON might be next season's cut "fat cat".

Beyond that, FASANO's living dangerously! He had a season to prove his worth, and he has done so: he's proven that he's strictly a #2 TE. His strength is blocking. If he'll take #2 TE money, he'll stay. Otherwise, he's gone.

Wilson is very very very bad. I wish he would fail a drug test, so Sparano would be forced to start Clemons. If Wilson screws up one more time and is the reason for another 50+ yard pass I will puke, so there is a good chance I will puke tomorrow.
