Did he have blazing speed? Nope. Was he the most athletic player ever at Arkansas? Not even close. What Morgan brought to the team was something that you can’t coach.
Morgan brought leadership and drive. He carried the team in their darkest moments and earned the name “Drew the Glue” for doing so. Of course, his best nickname will always be “Druice”.

Here are five reasons why the former Arkansas wideout can make a splash in Miami.

1. Drew Morgan can play wide or in the slot

The man made his hay at Arkansas being a top guy, a No. 1 receiver. From his so-so sophomore season (10 catches for 181 yards) as the team’s fifth wideout to a junior season in which he jumped to the top guy (63 catches for 843 yards), Morgan has established he can do either.

He is the type of WR we know what Miami loves to do with. That is to sign em, train em and then cut em so New England can turn em to super stars.

We are so deep at WR I think a couple of guys on our squad right now will make other NFL teams by the start of the regular season.

It will be interesting to see if he brings it when he gets his chance. He plays hard to be a little guy.

I don't see a Welker or Hogan in this kid. I also don't see a Wayne Chrebet. Honestly, when I watch that highlight reel I can't help but be impressed with that QB. He delivers the ball very accurately and on time every time, with a super-quick release. I realize it is a highlight reel ... but that QB is impressive.

So what ya saying is dont trade Juice yet...???

wr is best position on dolphins team....last 4yr

Looks like every first defender that should make the tackle is always out of position, getting stiff armed, or misses on every play.

That to me is a sign of a good wr .....plain and simple football player.

Looks like he's loves the game, the completion, and his speed is deceiving. Never even heard of him.

Hahahahaha, yeah, I'm definitely saying that ... and I was saying that before this kid showed up, and I'd be saying that even if this kid were the next Wes Welker. Juice is legit! :hump:

Problem is we have four locks at the position going into camp, and Grant (whether he deserves it or not) will also be a lock if no one else steps up as a punt returner. I'd give the early nod to Ford for the 6th spot assuming they keep 6. I like Stringfellow next.

As I recall, we have some promesing recivers from practice squad last year that I asume we resaing. So how many do we have and how good?

looks like ther's going to be good players not making the team.

Slow, slot WR? Surprised NE didn't pick him up.
