last year it was Brady Quinn and Ted Ginn Jr. Quinn being the surprise that fell while Ginn Jr. was the "reach'' of the draft. The year before if was Matt Leinhart being the one who fell along with Aaron Roger the year before that.

Draft Fallers:
I think this years guy who is gonna fall will be QB Andre' Woodson from Kentucky. During the college season he was projected to go in the top 15 but i believe his slow delivery will hurt him tremendously and he could fall to the mid to late 2nd. Also i think everyone knows this already but at one time he was considered a first rounder but stunk up his bowl game and ended up weighing in at 185 at the senior bowl practices....you know who im talking about...ya Colt Brennan.

Still not sure about:
I also could see Desean Jackson fall. At one point he was considered the best WR in this draft but he has already fallen a bit behind Malcolm Kelly. I think he will remind too many people of Ted Ginn (178lbs..same as Ginn...and thats small for a WR) and people wont risk a high first on him UNLESS he runs in the 4.2's and a team needs a Kick/Punt Returner too.

I'm also hearing about Mike Jenkins could be falling (was the top CB prospect until he was caught up in a fight at a bar. yikes! looks like he might fall now.

Draft Risers:

Its hard to guess the big winner in the draft but i could see Leodis McKelvin CB from Troy move up pretty far or OT from Boston College Gosder Cherilus. Also i can see a lot of teams look at Philip Merling DE form Clemson. I think the combine is gonna be very critical for all these players. I know he is already really high on peoples draft boards but I'd keep an eye on Vernon Gholston DE Ohio State. I can see the combine boosting him up even higher than what he is right now and he is a top 10 prospect. His physical Attributes are amazing. The ONLY thing hurting him is the fact that he is only 260 lbs. and couldn't play DE in a 3-4 but cold play OLB in a 3-4.

DeSean Jackson will fall because he hasn't really progressed as a WR. good return guy. Plus guys like Kelly, Manningham, and Thomas all are more refined WRs.

Chris Williams could rise to the mid first. He's surpassed Jeff Otah in OL rankings, and is quickly rising.

Phillip Merling should rise, but he won't get any higher than 20 IMO.

Derrick Harvey and Quention Groves will both fall because while both project well as OLBs in 3-4, they are not run stoppers.

Antoine Cason will fall because he is not as fast as a lot of the underclassmen

Leodis McKelvin could move into the top 10.

Justin King could move into late round 1 due to potential and his measurables.

Gosder Cherilus will not move up or down due to him being a strict RT.

Jeff Otah will pretty much either either be a top 12 pick or fall a bit due to the combine.

Dan Connor could fall for the worst reason ever; he isn't flashy.

Calais Campbell could see his stock really fall (and it already has). Projected as a top 5 lock during the preseason is now a late first that could fall even further down the totem poll if he doesn't bench well.

Come to think of it.... pretty much every DB will make their money during the 40 times. Example: Brandon Browner was considered a first round pick a couple years ago, ran a 4.6 and went undrafted.

Please let every other corner run a 4.4 or better and have Cason run a 4.5 and fall to the second round, he will be a NFL shutdown corner and we need him in the worst way

agreed. right now i have mckelvin, jenkins, roger-cromartie going before cason so there is a possibility that he falls to us at number #32

Cason could fall to the 3rd undeservedly. Not just due to speed, but this is one hella deep CB class

Mike Jenkins
Leodis McKelvin
DRC
Patrick Lee
Justin King
Brandon Flowers
Tracy Porter
Charles Godfrey
Antoine Cason
Jack Ikegwuonu (when healthy)
Trae Williams
Terrelle Thomas

should all be very good players in the league

Terrence Wheatley
DeJuan Tribble
Chevis Jackson
Jonathan Zenon
Zach Bowman
Orlando Scandrick
Dwight Lowery
Tyvon Branch
Jack Williams
Simeon Castille

all could be something very special. There are 22 CBs that all could be great players

and then there are a bunch of sleepers in
Antwaun Molden
Darnell Terrell
Jerrid Gaines
Brian Witherspoon (4.25 speed)
Glenn Sharpe
Marcus Walker

Which reminds me of a quote about Parcells from a few years ago. BP, it was said, tends to draft into the strength of a draft. Meaning, he'll load up on OLs if it's a good year for them and he needs them, because better ones get pushed down so there's higher value there.

We might need front seven guys more than DBs, but it will be interesting to see if Ireland (with BP's nodding approval) doesn't follow the value trail...

This draft is also deep in Offensive Tackles. Unlike last year where if you didn't draft a LT high you didn't get a good one this year is very deep. This draft is also deep in defensive linemen it seems. And we have needs on both sides of the ball for linemen. I'm just so excited about the possibilities.

I've had Cason at number 2 for a long time then when Malcolm Jenkins decided to stay in school, he became my number 1.

Yeah agree 100% about Cason i think he would be a great pick up in the 2nd round.
