Last year, we were #30 in the NFL. Ginn could be great but, do you risk the #1 WR? Bess was average, and does not have the breakaway speed. Cobbs was OK, far from great.

So, what do you do? Risk Ginn? Hope Bess steps it up? Who else may enter into the picture?

if armstrong makes the team, he will have to be considered with that speed. I think i also read somewhere that clemons is a pretty good returner. anyone know about v. davis and his returning ability?

ginn should return kicks and punts but he needs to work on his butterfingers on returns
 
Ginn on kickoffs. He is lighting in a bottle on returns, but I think he lacks the quickness needed on PRs. Plus, if you fumble the return on a KO, you've got a chance to at least cover it. Punts? Not so much. I think Bess is the PR man.

he also dances around too much and must have a glass eye because his depth perception of the guys coming at him is terrible seeing how he lets balls go a lot.
 
KR- Ginn or Cobbs (Cobbs is good at finding a hole and sticking too it, i hate KRs that dance).
PR- Bess
 
I agree that if Armstrong makes the team he'd have to be considered. I personally think it should be Ginn but for some reason this coaching staff seems very hesitant to put him back there.

Blocking is always a good thing on returns. I expect that to be MUCH better. Ginn "could be" better than Hester. I'm not sold on Bess.
 
We need an expendable, strong arm and fast legs returning stuff... hmm, too complicated for me to figure out.. YO BILL.

Not saying Bess is anything special on PRs. I'm just saying Ginn lacks the body control at this point to be effective on PRs IMO.
 
Cobbs. He did well it in the few oppurtunites he got.


I remember last season I suggested that he return them because I thought he had a quick burst and hit the holes, and people were saying " Are you drunk? " Good times.
