Who is looking good to you at the half???

Roberto Wallace, Jimmy Wilson, Odrick, Edds

Sent from R2D2

moore looked ok strong finish has ecspability
Jimmy wilson like the pressure he brings on the qb
Sapp made a few plays
fasano needs to grow a pair
henne started off horrendous finished good vs the 2nd teamers grade c-
Heartline nice touchdown kinda funny him falling at least it was inzone
run blocking sucked thomas looked like a undrafted free agent except for his nice catch
solia where were you? franchise tag one year wonder..
atlanta did what they wanted on the ground
gates i havent seen him do anything yet except maybe cause a bad turnover
the ball almost touched his leg on the punt he tried to get away from..
Bess nice 3 yard catch and a cloud of dust from henne
once again our run game sucked and our 1st string defense looked exposed..
Julio jones looked darn fast for atlanta.. matt ryan looked great
so far it looks like we got better backups then atlanta
You see how pissed duball was after that 2nd interception from henne
the 1st interception wasn't henne fault fasano had a woopty daisy
Boy sparano was pissed when carpenter missed that 1st field goal
he really had the fistpump ready
Edds nice sack odrick looks like the real deal
I thought it looked like gates was doin well, he was behind his defender multiple times, and the quarterbacks dont seem afraid to throw it up to him. now just to get that timing down.

odrick was impressive with that tfl and a few other pressures... i kept confusing roberto for brandon.... looks like hes rubbing off on him. jimmy wilson is all over the place, very aggressive player, he'll stick around. Daniel thomas... not much to say about his night, although he did look quicker than i thought down the sideline on that reception. other than that hard to judge based on the lack of any semblance of a hole on his 4 carries. definitely a first half we can take a lot away from.

Gates looks like he may be the steal of the draft with a little time. Amazing speed, way quicker than Ginn.

aj edds almost looks like, someone who use to wear 54

Matt Moore, Matt Moore, and that QB guy Matt Moore. I know he's playing
against second stringers, but the guy looks like a playmaker, he knows how to
move in the pocket (which is great because he's had too), and he knows how to
make plays downfield.

SIRSPUD: this is what the guy does. look at the clips of his games in detroit that are in a thread on the board here, regular season games against starters, and he excells at all the things you listed. the guy can make big throws under pressure. he is a great fade thrower and has a knack for hitting the guy in the back of the endzone. throws a good long ball and has great touch. makes throws off of anticipation instead of waiting for his guy to make his break, ala henne.

but, tony sparano will NEVER give up on henne. they decided to ride with him to the end this year and it wont matter if moore throws 3 td's in all the pre games, henne is his guy and will be starting opening day. so all you moore haters out there, dont worry, tony has yer back and henne will be in place come september.

I really don't think Sparano is as bonded to Henne as you think. I think he's rightfully worried about his job and knows that this year is time for results, which is why he didn't want to risk it on any rookie out there. I just think the pace of the veteran QB market was too quick for this team this year. We normally would have had months to work out the Orton trade, we had three days and it didn't develop like we hoped.

Sparano pulled Henne last year, and I think he will do it again with everything he's got to lose. The difference is that I just don't think Sparano ever viewed Thigpen as a legitimate starting option, whereas I don't think he will feel the same way about Moore, who has bonafide starting experience and has actually experienced success.
