Whatever events somehow led the D to being a complete clusterfluck and Oline still being in shambles so I guess Tannenbaum. Yes team would probably still be 6-8 wins with the current QB play, but now we are legitimately in the running for worst in the league.

I dunno the players are big boys with a job to do, ****ing do it. They get paid well. I've always felt lots of the players on this team were soft babies. Nobody on an NFL football field is completely incapable.

For me it's the coach. I can't buy in that we are just so inferior talent wise that God himself couldn't coax a couple wins out of us. Coaching is the most important thing in any sport. Talent matters but coaching matters more. We had a guy roam our sidelines for 25 years who could be competitive w ANY roster. Funny how people talk about how poorly we drafted during Marino's prime (and we did) yet the team was still competitive every year. Had 1 losing season in the late 80's at 6-10 - the worst record of Don Shula's 33 year coaching career. He had **** rosters and injuries to deal w too. Yet, no one EVER looked at Miami as an easy win. Quite the contrary. Just like today, even w Jacob Brisket playing QB you have to take NE seriously. Even w 3 slot receivers, no deep threat and injuries on their o-line you have to take them seriously. Even when Gronk is injured you have to take them seriously. Why is that? Why could Shula or Belicheck or Lombardi or Walsh or even Jon Harbaugh be competitive no matter what their roster looked / looks like? Adam Gase is a joke. He will never be worth even as much as a dingleberry on the ass of the aforementioned coaches. We are going no where w this loser-nerd-pretender. And yeah, it doesn't help that Ross and Tannenbaum are assclowns. But you know what? In the beginning it wasn't as if Joe Robbie had a clue - he forbid the scouts to go anywhere that required an overnight stay in order to save money. Did you know that? And they still won super bowls. Amazing what a good coach can do.
Tbumm has been around long enough to see what kind of garbage Turner and Foster are. It is his job to upgrade yet they are still on the roster. If the online isn't pass blocking or opening holes the defense is out there too long and bad things happen. I voted tbumm.
