Who is our 2nd WR?

Hey all I'm saying is that he needs to be a little more productive then last season. I think he had like 50 catches and 600 yds with only one TD. Those aren't starter stats.

How was anyone supposed to put up great numbers in the horrible offense we ran last year?? Moss/TO or anyone else wouldnt have done a damn thing.

Booker is our #2 after Chambers....but I wouldn't mind seeing Wes getting a few throws.....he gained over 1,000 yards his senior year at Texas Tech...I know that is not saying much as TT throws it all game long, but Wes knows his routes. Gonna get me an orange Wes Welker jersey if he keeps it up. :D

Its a whole new offense and a whole new coaching staff..wich means The 2 "best" WR's will start regardless of who was there last year or not...If they all stay healthy and they all play their best then on 2 WR sets we will see Boston and Chambers...on 3 WR sets we will have CC in the slot...tell me what team has the ablilty to cover those 3 guys....

I will rank them in order from best to worst:

1. Chris Chambers
2. Marty Booker
3. David Boston
4. Derrius Thompson
5. Bryan Gilmore
6. Kendall Newson
7. Josh Davis
8. Wes Welker(outstanding ST player, but I don't want him on the field as a WR)
9. Ronald Bellemy
10. Maurice Mann
11. Luther Huggins

Nice job. I like that list, and let me just finish it off with who I think will make the team:

WR1- Chris Chambers
WR2- Marty Booker
WR3- David Boston
WR4- Derrius Thompson
WR5- Bryan Gilmore
WR6- Wes Welker

I actually think Bryan Gilmore is better, or would be better than Thompson at no.4, he didn't do too bad filling in for chambers who was injured, when playing against the Jets, and other teams.

Boston has the skills to bump Booker out of the #2 spot. Question is, can he stay healthy to do it? I don't think it will be easy for him either.

linehan uses a lot of 3 wr sets so chambers, boston and booker will all be on the field a lot...we should have a lot of mismatches...

WR1- Chris Chambers
WR2- Marty Booker
WR2- David Boston
WR4- Bryan Gilmore
WR5- Derrius Thompson
WR6- Wes Welker

I see Gilmore also pushing who ever is the #3 reciever Booker or Boston. Pushing maybe not winning the position out right but pushing for it.

Well If Boston Can Stay Healthy Saban Will Play The Two Best And That I Think Would Be Boston And Chambers.anyways It Won't Really Matter Cause We Will Be Running Alot Of Three Four Wr Sets.

Marty is the possesion WR who is a great compliment to Chris.... I believe routes and hands are the most important things as a reciever and Chris and Marty are the better 2 of those catagorys. Boston will be a mismatch machine as the 3rd wideout. The playing time for our #3 WR will drastically increase this year.

I think who ever it is I would hate to be the LB who has to tackle either of them. Both weigh over 225 and will be harder to bring down then say some of the other #3 wr's in the league.

But with Boston Being injury proned, do we want him going over the middle?
