yeah I'm with you on this brother...nobody seems to be talking about him but I also noticed what he did at the combine..I never saw him in college but it looks like he tore the combine up. any purdue fans that can give a little insight?

edit: and 6'2 240?...sounds like a monster on paper

He could be a really good OLB for us in the second or third if we go that route.

Only saw him play a couple of times on TV but from what the broadcasters were saying and from what I have read. He was a first time starter this year, he played behind Spencer and Arvil prior to this year and even this year he was not a full time starter. Great Special Teams potential but will take some work before he is ready to start but has the ability to start somewhere down the road. Also, Parcells seems to have a real soft spot for players from Purdue and for players from the Big Ten in general so there might be a fit there.

One other guy to lokk at is B Kehl the LB from BYU. Real nice size and athletic ability. Supposedly one of the better coverage LB'[s in this class and has rushed the passer in college as well. The big difference is that he has played MLB in college. A MLB to play alongside Crowder seems to be a priority at this point.

Interesting. he seems to have ALL the physical traits: Fast, strong, quick, explosive, but perhaps he is lacking between the ears "football wise".
Interesting prospect however seeing that of all positions he seems to be the only one to be in the top 5 of every category.
I am sure someone will take a chance on him.

I "think" I also saw that he was closer to 250lbs than 240lbs (248lbs to be exact) but I am not sure that was an official weight. Most sites have him listed between 240lbs-242lbs.

Great find Knox. Who's Guyton?

One FAST Mo' FO! LOL
6'3" 240lbs LB from georgia tech.

2007: Started all 13 games at outside linebacker... averaged more than one tackle-for-loss per game (1.04)... ranked second on the team in total tackles (78)... his 13.5 TFLs and 5.0 sacks were among the team leaders... had five pass break-ups and one quarterback hurry... put up better statistics as the season progressed as he became more comfortable at the position... was a bright spot in the loss to Boston College (Sept. 15)... had nine total tackles, six solo tackles, two tackles-for-loss, a sack and a forced fumble in the loss to the Eagles... broke up a pass, produced 1.5 TFLs and six total tackles at Virginia (Sept. 22)... sacked Clemson quarterback Cullen Harper, added another half-tackle for loss and broke up a pass against the Tigers (Sept. 29)... had eight total tackles, 1.5 for loss and broke up one pass at Maryland (Oct. 6)... produced 1.5 sacks and a quarterback hurry at Duke (Nov. 10)... was a force in the win over North Carolina (Nov. 17)... had eight solo tackles, two sacks and three tackles-for-loss against the Tar Heels... recorded 10 tackles, including five solo tackles, and had one pass break-up in the Humanitarain Bowl (Dec. 31).

I thought Geno Hayes was faster than that and Jerod Mayo was slower than his time posting lol. Kinda thought it the other way around.
