I know that this topic is completely random but I was wondering who u guys think the better reciever is between Chris Chambers and Chad Johnson.

Chambers is more talented but Johnson is more physicaly gifted so who is better?
 
you must be really bored or trying to increase your posts.......you dont really have to ask that question everyone knows CJ is an elite wr and chambers isdecent with some flashes of brilliance but ovrall dont waste your time asking like i am replying....lol
 
Well I'm guessing that it kinda depends on who's throwin' the ball.Its hard to see what Chambers is capable of,when 10 yards into his route his QB is layin on his friggin back!

I don't see Chambers as more talented or more physically gifted.

There are no questions about Johnson's consistency, hands, routes, speed, concentration, etc.

Johnson is one of the elite receivers in the game. He's also a team leader. They're on two different plateaus.

Johnson also has had the benefit of consistency on his team where chambers hasnt. I dont care who the reciever is it would be hard for anyone to go through 3 different offensive systems in 3 years.

Chad is definitley the overall better receiver. The only thing Chambers has over chad is jumping.
 
Lets do a little comparison between Chambers and Johnson the past three seasons:

Player A: 279 catches, 4,075 yards, 25 TD's (Averages- 93cth - 1,358yd - 8td)
Player B: 210 catches, 2,693 yards, 22 TD's (Averages- 70cth - 898yd - 7td)

Boy, this a tough one....

Hint: Player A is not Chambers
 
Chambers is my favorite player, but he only excels in one thing. Even with his down year last year, he is better at scoring TD's (due to jumping? incredible catches? smells the end zone better?)

Johnson is the better receiver, more consistent, moves the chains. Chambers for whatever reason is damn good at getting in the end zone. I think he is better than he played last year, but he's not on Johnsons's level. I'm not talking about physical ability, I have to see production before even saying he is close to Johnson's level.
 
Chambers is a really good WR with alot of talent but i am going to have to go with Johnson as much as i like Chambers i think Johnson is the better player but that could change Chambers needs a good qb if we had a qb like Carson then who know Chambers might be the better player he has had a diffrent QB almost ever years in his carrer but if u go back to the 2005 season i think Chambers was better than Johnson that year
