with all the talk of players who do dumb things like regie bush and his finger pointing at the bears players who is the biggest knuckleheads to ever play for the phins? i am not talking about players like yatil green who was injured but players who you remember getting penalties at the wrong time and other on and off the field stuff.

my top 5 knuckleheads are .
#1 olb derick rodgers even thought i liked him he commited a 15 yrd penalty in the pats game that kept their offensive drive alive on 4th down.
#2 cecil collins with a broken leg dives out a window after being busted for peeping.

#3 eddie moore for getting decked at the olive garden by a waiter, that had to make dave proud.
#4 jammar flecther see derrick rodgers caus he did the same thing in the same 2nd half as rodgers.

#5 ricky williams for embarassing the team not once but twice. nice guy but a knucklehead and one more strike and he is out for good.

1) Tom Olivadotti/Chuck Studley
2) Cecil Collins
3) Nick Saban
4) Dave Wannstedt
5) Ricky Williams

Honorable mention: Lawrence Phillips, Jackie Shipp

Most are coaches but they deserve the distinction.

Who "are" the Dolphins 5 biggest boneheads in history?

To be fair, that call on Fletcher was highly questionable.

Sammie Smith
Ricky Williams
Cecil Collins
Nick Saban
Lastly, I forget the name of that defensive end we acquired from the Vikes years ago that was a nut job and tried to kill himself?

nick saban,nick saban,nick saban,nick saban,rick speilman.

Larry Csonka - Jim Kiick - Paul Warfield for leaving the Dolphins for the upstart WFL. Joe Rooby for allowing that to happen.

:shakeno: Zonk bolted to the WFL for a whopping $ 50k per year. The BONEHEAD was tightass Joe Robbie for only wanting pay him 30k. Joe Robbie took great pleasure in being known as a tough negotiator. He said NO ONE MAN was worth $50k PY.

Tony Franklin-missed 3 field goals in a game against Patriots after he was signed to replace an injured Reviez in 1988. Shula wouldn't even refer to him by name after the game.

Ray Lucas-I think that one's self-explanatory.

Sammie Smith-Back-to-back fumbles on the goal line in 1991, then gets caught selling drugs.

A.J. Feeley-Just because I never liked him and he seemed like a punk to me.

Brian Sochia-Held out at the start of the 1991 season, then admitted later he rooted for the Bills to beat us in the opener because he was so mad.

Honorable mention-Alfred Ogelsby-missed a practice and then made up some story about being carjacked.

You mean besides Nick Saban???
