Who is the front runner for 2nd string RB?

Have we gotten any hint as to who Ronnie's backup will be?

I'm really pulling for KJ Harris, only because I can envision him coming in to give Ronnie a break and busting one right up the middle for 90 and 6.

But as I understand it, neither KJ nor GR JR. were impressive at MiniCamp.

I don't want Travis Minor getting any carries and am not thrilled with Sammy Morris.

I'm just curious to see if any suggestion has been made by anyone of importance.

Sammy Morris is currently the front runner to be the back-up.
 
I think that the job was promised to Sammy Morris.

Surely its gonna be Sammy Morris. There isnt another serious contender to the post unless we sign someone between now and camp. I still cant believe Minor has managed to hang around for so long.

Minor is 1 of our best players on ST every year. Plus the only opportunity he ever had was on the 4-12 disaster team. There weren't many standout perfromances behind that O-Line.
 
I feel we will sign someone, I like sammy but I feel we could get a better back.

I agree with ya on getting a better back but i wouldnt count on it.Saban has said he is happy with Morris at #2.

I'll stick with the guys we have. No need to go pick up someone else's garbage when we have a perfectly capable guy in Sammy Morris.
