who is the most underrated dolphin player on this team now and why?i have to vote for Moore.he came in after being on the bench for several weeks and took control of this team.he ha some mistakes but he also played like he was the leaderof this team .did not play scared.:hump:

Fasano. Effective blocker. Great pass catcher, especially in high pressure situations. The guy can do it all yet everyone seems to want to replace him.

Wake. Severely underrated this season. He was the only person getting consistent pressure, even through holds.

Solai. The guys is playing in the pro bowl and we are taking about getting rid of him.
He is in the prime of his career and is very durable.

MATT MOORE!

no other player on this team [and i doubt any other] is more under rated.

its pathetic. sometimes i think these fans dont deserve a good qb. we finally have one and their standing around with buckets of tar and feathers! their so deep and lost in their hatred they FIRMLY believe a college qb from a run n shoot, 1 read, spread offense with no time being under center, always in the shotgun, is going to come in here and master the wco [whose qb's live under center] and be the saviour of this team.

the day joe philbin was hired is the same day the dolphins scratched RG3 from their draft board. if there is one qb in this draft who is farthest from being ready to take on the wco [an offense whose qb's live under center and have to be able to make MULTIPLE reads on every play, and FAST], its RG3. anyone who thinks learning getting the ball and seeing the field from under center is easy to do and easy to learn has NEVER played and knows nothing about the differences between under center and shotgun.

rg3 being in a 1 read offense in the shotgun his whole college career is a HORRIBLE choice for the west coast offense, expecially for what we would have to give up in pics and the salary he would command. and you can bet philbin and sherman are not going to run RG3's college offense just to get his numbers to justify taking him that high like the panthers did with cam newton. no way, no how!

anyhoo, MATT MOORE is the most under rated player on this team.

Jared Odrick most likely. He was dominating in the 2nd half of the season.

Hartline most and Moore second-most underrated.

Hartline had a couple uncharacteristic drops in the last couple games but catches virtually everything thrown his way. He also regularly beats the CB's downfield on the deep routes. Made one catch on a long pass this season where he got crushed as soon as he caught it and not only held on, but popped right up off the turf and ran to the huddle. I think he's really quite underrated.

As for Moore, in order to be underrated, you have to be much better than people think and like Hartline, he is. I was not happy about the pick-up and mortified at the thought of him starting the rest of the season after Henne went down. He's not Rogers or Breese or Brady, but he made some really, really good throws, particularly down the seams and across the middle downfield (which I love and appreciate that Daboll ran those passes). One of my favorite passes was a seam pass he threw beautifully to Marshall for a nice long gain against the Giants and the zebras called offensive interference (horrible call). Had they not called that, I believe we win that game. Instead of first and ten near mid-field with a lead, we are pushed back deep into our territory and it's like 2nd and 20 and we never recovered. But that pass was to Marshall's back shoulder and a beauty. A touch never shown by you-know-who.

Aaron Rodgers lives under center? News to me.

every team gets their qb in the shotgun. it depends on the defense and play they want to run and where the qb can get that play executed from the quickest. expecially in spread/multi wr sets.

the wco is not a run n shoot team that is predominantly run from the gun. its basis is under center.

how often did you see montana under center? [if you go back that far].

come on MIZFIT. even you can do better than that. [right?]
