Who is the worst coach in the NFL?

Dennis Erickson is not a better coach than Wanny.
 
I'm surprised that Tom Coughlin was voted the worst head man in the NFL by that survey. I'd take him over Wannstedt any day.

And yes, Martz is MUCH worse than Wanny.
 
Players were not allowed to vote for their head coaches

well if they were, you know wanny would have been voted the worst

The Giants are on the verge of a mutiny and the season is all of 1 game old. How do you do any worse of a coaching job than that?

I retract my support of Coughlin. :)
 
I'd say it would be Dennis Erickson.

How the man got another NFL coaching job is beyond me.

I still think either Wanny or Martz are the two worst. It is hard to say which is worse, I mean when comparing two things that suck... I would say I don't want either, not that I'll take a because b is worse. UGH...
 
Im going with Coughlin, although time will tell on his second shot now with NY, week one sure looked bad though.
 
How is Jim Haslett not on the worst coaches list? Has he done anything in New Orleans aside from the 2000 season?

You're on crack. Don't get me wrong, I hate the pats but Belichek is one, if not the best coach in the NFL.

Technically he said best ever and in that case I agree. In the game now he is one of the best, I think the best coach in the league gets no credit and thats Dick Vermiel. Before him what did the Rams do???? Same Question for the Chiefs??? He has turned around TWO franchises!
 
Interesting that Parcells made both the best coach and worst coach list.

Interesting that players prefer to play for the mild mannered types like Dungy, Vermeil, Belichick...

It looks like Gibbs is an unknown to the younger players in the league. He should be near the top of the best coach list.
