He wasn't half bad for the Huskies. I saw alot of him seeing that I'm a Univ. of Arizona alumni. He's a big, athletic QB, live arm too. He played quite well against USC. He's injury proned though.

Ya, most definately NOT a brainiac in any way shape or form.

Who is he? How dare you dis the pride of UW from last year like that?

Stanback was the only bright spot for the Huskies leading a terrible team to a .500 record and a game against USC that the Dawgs should've had, clock ran out at USC 10 with the Huskies down by 4.

He was a 4 time state champion in the 100 meters in high school and is just an all around athelete. He played receiver in the first 2 years of his college career but moved to QB when the position was decimated and the staff realized he could throw it 80 yards through the air. Isiah is a possible 7th round prospect who could compete with Campbell for the 5th WR spot and return duties. Please draft this guy! :)

EDIT: Imagine the double reverse pass options we would have with Stanback and Vick in the same receiveing core.

That isnt true. He played at QB before last year. He was a WR and played a little QB in '03 then got more time at QB in '04 and was a starter at QB in '05 and '06. I agree we are probably talking to him about WR though.

Yeah the Huskies program has been a mess since Cody Pickett and Reggie Williams left for the NFL. Pickett had set the record for yards by a Pac-10 QB (I believe that was recently broken) and Williams did for WRs (not sure on that but pretty sure.) Stanback was given some PT at QB in '04 and like you said, started in '05 and '06 before injuries.

With two 6 round picks and three 7s, you'll hear the Phins are interested in many players we haven't heard about.
:goof:

He's no NFL QB or WR

From looking at his bio he was a decent QB and not a very good WR. However, he is a very good sprinter on the track team. I think the Dolphins are looking at him as a late round/free-agent pickup as a kick returner/punt returner or possibly a running back because running is what he does best.

Very raw but I like him as a develomental player. Could use one of our sevenths on him. He played really well against USC this year. He gave the Trojans all they could handle.
