Meaningless question but was just wondering. Who named it? Correct me if I am wrong by the QB coach came from Arkansas and it was called the Wild Hog.

And for all the smart A$$ I know the org. name for the formation is the single wing. I ran the thing for to 3 state titles.

West Genesee Wildcats

Wildcat Offense

The American football offensive formation known as the Wildcat formation is said to have gained its name from the school's mascot. The Miami Dolphins of the NFL, form whom former West Genesee football coach Steve Bush now coaches, have used the formation successfully many times during the 2008 season.

Unfortunate for me Bush wasn't coach when I played there. He was busy with Pasqualoni and the Orangemen then.
