Definitely does although I think Lombardi is kind of an ***. However, I think Lombardi ignores some key points about Parcells history though, namely the fact his affinity for the OLB position. He mentions the trade of the 1997 pick but with the Jets needing a tackle so badly, why didnt he take Pace? He didnt net that much in a trade. All he got was an extra 3rd, 4th and 7th on top of swapping firsts. Not exactly that much. I know the jets were cap strapped at the time but still could of netted more. Same thing with Walter Jones. All he got was an extra fourth to move 2 spots. Not the most endorsing move for someone of Jones caliber. He was offered a trade from seattle to move from the 8th spot but took James Farrior instead. What Im driving at is that, if Parcells did not have a strong conviction on two players who were more well regarded, why would he now?
