Who played the best last night?

IMO on Defense: Crowder, Roth and Jason Taylor.

On Offense: Boston, Ricky and AJ.

On Special Teams: Wes and that punter I think his name was Donnie Jones

Crowder and Taylor both had excellent games. Roth just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

Donnie Jones had a terrible game, his one punt was only 28 yards.

Donnie Jones had a terrible game, his one punt was only 28 yards.

Actually Jones punted the entire game, not just once, and several of them were impressive. Two of them were very close to being downed inside the 5. He has a very good leg. But he weakened as the game went on and probably wrecked any slim hope of making the team with his last punt. We were pinned inside our 20 with a 3 point lead and Jones clunked his worst effort of the night, giving Tampa possession inside our territory. That might have been the 28 yarder you referred to. It looked awful.

I thought Vickerson and Wright did all right as well. Vickerson more consistently, but Wright busted through quickly a few times.

Yeah I know he punted the whole game, I was just stating that deep in our own territory when we needed a booming punt we got a 28 yard blooper.
