How the the offensive line play? Who played where?

I didnt get to see the game yesterday?
 
Alleman, and Frye. Frye did some "young, first time things but also some good effort things." He wiffed bad on his first play.
 
Alleman, Frye and Ndukwe (RG only when in) were switching around all game between RG & LG.
 
How'd they all do, for those who watch that sort of thing closely
 
Alleman replaced Smiley with Frye backing Alleman and Ndukwe throughout the game. Remember, most teams carry 9 OL: 4 OT's(2 starters and 2 backups), 2 C's(1 starter and 1 backup), and 3 G's(2 starters and 1 backup)...we got 10, an extra OG there, or as Sparano likes to say: "that way..." LOL. This means that Sparano is evaluating who is going to be the backup OG to Donald Thomas and Justin Smiley next season out of Ndukwe, Alleman, and Frye. I think that Ndukwe and Frye may have a chance at backup RT to a re-signed Carey too.

No doubt backup LT will be drafted sometime in the 3rd or 4th round of the draft I'm sure to backup Jake Long and push or even replace Vernon Carey if he isn't re-signed.

Looks like next season's OL will be something like:

LT-Jake Long/rookie or FA pick up
LG-Justin Smiley
C- Johnson/Satele or vice versa
RG- Donald Thomas/Alleman, Ndukwe, or Frye
RT-Vernon Carey/Ndukwe, Frye, Garner, rookie or FA pickup
 
Awesome news the backups gel...Cause Smiley I thought was our 2nd best fre-agent pickup of the off season.

I thought he was playing great ball.

Always in on a key touchdown block.

BESS wasn't a real F/A. He was an undrafted college player, who PARCELLS went after bigtime.

Parcells had nothing to do with it... Satele and Mauia told him to pick Miami over other teams and he tried out
