Who replaces Smiley

It should be Andy Alleman. Wait, we traded him. It will be Ndukwe. NM he is gone too. Guess we will have to go with Shawn Murphy. O ya he got cut. Lets go with Berger!
 
Berger has been used stricly as a center....the reports say Murtha has been filling in during practice. I don't like the idea of having a 6'7'' guard personally....much less a guy who couldnt even make the Lions 53 man roster.

Good to hear as I expected this out of Smiley when we aquired him. The same thing for the center we picked up from Oakland. You can hope and I hope that they can hold up in a phin uniform but if they were injury prone in Oakland or San Fran you can figure they will in Miami also. Nice pickups until you can develop a better alternative but you better be prepared for them to go down.
 
Garner will be an upgrade over an injured Smiley trying to play.
If Sparano kept him over the others, he must have some upside.
 
If there is a perfect time for main players not to play to get a rest and preserve their bodies it is this game... well this game more then others.

Hold your tongue young man, there are no "gimme"s in the NFL. Just ask Philly and Green Bay!

How could we get rid of those probowl Olineman, anyone of them would have put us over the top!

I wonder if there was a good reason why we got rid of them or does our FO not like to keep talented players that fit our system? Or maybe that's why their gone, why don't we see what Gardner or Berger can do before we critize every move.
 
I love how everyone thinks this team is sooo much more talented than the tampas of the league. Maybe they missed last season? Reality is going to hit hard in the next 3 weeks

Oh trust me i know i have seen enough games and been to enough games to know that. But also that got we 7 more game after this one, I say any team that does not have a bye week this week and have people hurt or bang up this is the game you should let them cool down. I can not tell how happy i am that every coach and player on this team takes this game the same as they would a division game or vs a elite team.
 
Nate Garner is 6'6" 320, so he's got some size. I remember Sparano saying how impressed he was with how physical Garner was in the pre-season
