I'm Upset that Fasano hasn't had a great year but I still think he is a good player and he still is very young. We also have Haynos and Sperry but I'm not a believer they can be consistent starters.

Notable Free Agents Next Year (Order doesn't mean anything)

1. Anthony Fasano (I want him to be resigned but if he doesn't pick it up now I think there are better free agents that can help us better than him.)

2. Tony Scheffler (I think he is a great player and I feel the Broncos aren't using him enough. I like his fight for every yard mentality and he also is young. Could be a great sign in my opinion.)

3. Owen Daniels (Great Tight End but I'm not sure we would go after him because we are known to stay away from players who are coming off injuries. I would like to pick him up.)

4. Bo Scaife (Good Tight End and not sure if the Titans will sign him again. I mean they drafted Jared Cook jr. I think he will be available.)

5. Benjamin Watson (I think he is a good Tight End but I doubt he would sign with a rival team.)

6. Randy Mcmichael (Ex Dolphin Who I believe never missed a game for us. It be cool to have him back but his age will probably make us turn our head away. Sucks that the Rams don't use him cause I still think he is good.)

*Sorry for the "Are" instead of "Our". It was a mistake.*

scheffler and Daniels will be RFA's...not gonna get them. The rest are no better than Fasano. The TE spot is draft or no upgrade IMO.

I think that Anthony Fasano only worked well with Chad Pennington because Pennington was more of a tight end passing QB.

As for the free agency, I would have to say either Tony Scheffler or Owen Daniels (Pending he doesn't get resigned).

As for the upcoming draft, I think Jermaine Gresham or maybe Aaron Hernandez would be a great addition but other positions need to be addressed more than tight end.

What I think the Dolphins will do is either resign Fasano or let him go and start joey Haynos in his place.

And also on a side note, we have our other tight end, David Martin, on IR, I was impressed with the way he played last year, hopefully we can resign him too!

Yea that's true unless somehow we sign one of them for $927,000 lol cause then whenever they were drafted we only have to give them that. I think thats the RFA rule but I'm not completely sure.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I really like what I've seen of Sperry. I say we try to get him more snaps to see if he steps up. Sooner the better so we find out what we have with him. If he doesn't show potential to be a great I seriously think we should go to free agency to bring in a top TE. Fasano is just too inconsistent, as is Heynos. And Nalbone can't catch a cold...

I'm not sure we would draft Jermaine Gresham because he will be coming off an injury I believe but you never know. As for Hernandez we can get him and I believe 4th-5th round probably.

Draft Jimmy Graham in the 4th round. Trust me.

;)

That's true also Jimmy Graham is pretty good. I don't know too much bout except seeing highlights but Can he Block? + What Round Will He Go In?

If Fasano could put it all together he would be very good. Last year he was a decent receiver who ran over and through defenders but a so-so blocker. This year he's been an excellent blocker and a poor receiver for some reason (carrying an injury ?)

I think they'll re-sign him and he'll be the starter next season - he'll be fairly cheap due to his poor receiving numbers

Jimmy Graham is a huge body. He block, has great hands, gets off of blocks well, and he's a red zone nightmare. He can do it all. And not bad for a guy that only played one season of college football but he dominated in high school. He can play the position. Three years ago I was in Clemson for the Miami - Clemson game and I was watching young Jimmy Graham when I turned to a friend and said he should be playing tight end for the Hurricanes as well.

I have him going in the 4th round but we'll see how he does at the combine. He could work his way into a late second rounder if he balls out.

How about we re-sign Fasano?

He is obviously the victim of a sub-par receiving corps. He is the best receiving option we have on this team and he is getting the majority of attention when we are passing the ball and he has had an issue with injury this year too. Tight end is not an issue for this team if we have receivers that can loosen up coverage.

Re-sign Fassano continue to develop Sperry. Hanos is one of the current Dolphins roster I would like to see put in a boat and sunk!
