Who steps up tonight and ignites this team to victory?

What player will have a slump breaking performance tonight to spur his team to win this evening?

Some choices could be Tanny, Wake, Miller, Jones, Hartline but I'm picking Wallace. I think he sees a leader needs to step up and produce, not so much with words, but with actions. I'd like to see a heavy dose of speed after the catch for 200 yards tonight.

What's your choice?
 
We beat Cincinnati last year because Ryan Tannehill played a very clean football game.

Needs to happen again.

No player on this roster is going to do it. We need a time machine that can bring us back to 1972.

I'd say Tanne is going to have to step up and say some magical words to inspire the troops.
I'd like to see Hartline step up, but playing #2 to Wallace kind of lessens his power as a leader.
Now, I do agree, this is the perfect time for Wallace to step up and be a leader...I'm just not sure he has it in him, or really cares.

Who is going to give the pep talk to the coaches?
That's another issue all together.
 
This will be a team win, and I like how our defense matches up against the Bengals offense. They have a weak interior OL, and we have a strong DL. I think we can stuff them with only 4 lineman and play coverage all night. I think the D can win this for us. And our biggest advantage is having Coyle's knowledge of the Bengals players. We played them very well last year because of it.

This. IMO, Tannehill needs to start being more of a "jerk". Obviously being the happy leader isn't working and it's time to start holding people accountable. It's clear people can't do it on their own or need to be called out.

This is very true. Call out those who don't block. Get a little fire out there. Protect our qb o-line!

I agree, Tanne has to be "heard" more, but I don't think yelling at someone like Wallace is going to make him more productive.
Lots of personalities, hard to lead them all, but time for Tanne to get it done!

Really? I don't think he needs to be a jerk at all. The OL's problem is that some players just aren't any good, and no amount of yelling at them or being a jerk to them will make them better. Mike Wallace doesn't understand how to read a coverage and adjust his route, and yelling at him and being a jerk to him isn't going to make him suddenly understand those things.

He needs to stop turning the ****ing football over.

All good leaders pull more out of those they lead than they are capable of. Sometimes an ass chewing wakes them up to abilities they didn't know they had, sometimes it angers them that they were yelled at wrongfully in their eyes and they "prove" they can do it. Simply saying to do nothing and continue as is because nothing will change, will only ensure nothing WILL change.

I think Tannehill needs to assert himself now as a guy who will do anything to win. He needs to put away the second year guy walking on eggshells attitude, and step more into a second year guy who's there to win and everyone needs to do so or GTFO. Because if they don't, life's gonna be miserable in the organization.
