Mostly everyone here is assuming that its gonna be Henne and it should be but will a curve ball be thrown (Hartline, anyone?) and Pennington starts? Also, do we keep Pennington if he doesn't start (as a back up) or use him as trade value?

P.S. I hope we get Eric Berry....

I believe this is Henne's team now, after 3 shoulder surgeries I believe Penny could be done. I know he wants to still compete, but I'm not so sure his body can stand up to a full NFL season any longer.

Wait...were you insinuating that they would start Hartline as QB next year? Plus we can't trade Pennington he's going to be an unrestricted free agent.

This is the year Henne was designated to be the starter anyways so he will start.

i hope we keep pennington if henne starts. pennington would be a nice back up qb.

Henne I would say is the starting QB for next year.

I am confused as well with the whole (Hartline Anyone) statement. What does hartline have to do with who our starting QB will be? Are you trying to say it was odd, or a shock that he was starting for us at receiver?

I WOULDN'T BE SO SURE AND i WOULDN'T WANT TO COUNT
PENNINGTON OUT.

You do realize Pennington(2008)was better than Henne(2009)
in EVERY statistical category
total yards
completions
touchdowns
completion percent
QB rating
sacks
fumbles...everything :hi5:

If anything I can see the Trifecta having a competition between Thigpen and Henne, just to create some kind of competition in camp, BUT Henne will get the nod when its all said and done.

It's about a 99% chance Henne starts in 2010. Why would they bench Henne for Pennington and retard Henne's development, just when the offense is getting some chemistry with Henne?

Uh, are you really suggesting Hartline at QB?

I think he was referencing how Hartline made a big jump in TC last year when most here thought Patrick Turner was the one shining in TC. There were alot of postive articles discussing how well Turner was acclimating to the offense and we see how that ended up. I do recall some articles talking about Hartline playing well also, but we didn't truly understand how well he was playing until the 1st or 2nd pre-season game when we saw how much time he was getting with the 1st team.
