they have him listed as a tight end, but he appears to have started the game at fullback over free agent pickup heath evans. i thought he looked very good at fullback, and also at tight end at times. prior to last night, i had never even heard if him. anyone know anything?

Not actually sure, although I have had him on my team in Madden 2005 before, I think he is a young guy, played in arizona last year, although he may not have seen the field.

He's a guy who (if he keeps playing well) might make the team....we may find ourselves a DIAMOND in the rough...okay that was corny! LOL

I do know that I'd Rather have Diamond in there instead of Lee! Lee should have been tossed from this team 3 years ago.

A diamond in the rough ? I had never heard of him.He doesnt run very good after the catch though. He looked like a flailing whale on foot.

I'd rather a guy who can catch and not run well after that than one that cannot even catch :D

IMO diamond was one of the few bright spots yesterday..he might be our bkp TE

He can't catch and run well? Did you miss the play where he caught a 4 yard pass, make two people miss, and gain 4 more yards to get the first down?

hes a player i kept noticing him also. i like how he played.

I'd heard his name a lot recently in training camp reports on deep passes. Now, I see why. He looks good. If Donald Lee doesn't get his hands straightened out, Mr. Diamond is taking over.

Thought he looked good on that play. Looks like he has decent hands and good body for a TE. I will watch him closely the rest of the preseason.

I think the tight ends looked good for the most part. I think Donald Lee might very well be out the door by preseason's end...
