Here they are, ranked in terms of importance that they happen to benefit our playoff chances
Miami over Tampa Bay. Obviously
Denver over San Diego. Either Denver or KC is taking this division, and the other is taking a wild card. San Diego is a big threat for that last wild card spot. We play them later this year so we'll need to win that game obviously, but this helps immensely along the way.
Cincinnati over Baltimore. You have to think Cincy takes the division as they're 2 games up, and we would be competing against Baltimore for a wild card. Also, Baltimore already has the tie-breaker on us so we don't want to finish with the same record as them.
Jacksonville over Tennessee. Easy - the Titans are in the thick of the playoff hunt w/Miami and the Jags are done this year.
Pittsburgh over Buffalo. Pitt is 2-6 and Buff is 3-6, but Buffalo beat us once already and is in our division. We play Pitt in a few weeks and can pretty much put them away if we beat them.
St. Louis over Indianapolis. While Indy is 2 games up on Tennessee for the division and is likely to take it, they could still come into play for a wild card if they start losing. We want them to weaken and lose to an NFC opponent.
Arizona over Houston. Houston probably won't challenge for a wild card but you never know.
New York Giants over Oakland. Oakland probably won't challenge for a wild card but you never know.
Atlanta over Seattle. This one really doesn't matter much, but if you had to pick someone you'd like to see Atlanta win to increase our strength of schedule and also would want Seattle to lose because I wouldn't want to face them in the Super Bowl!
Carolina over San Fran. Similar to ATL/SEA, we would want Carolina to win, as we play them later this year, and we want our opponents to have a strong record to help us in tie-breaker scenarios. But this one matters very little.
New Orleans over Dallas. See above.
Chicago/Detroit. Doesn't matter.
Green Bay/Philly. Doesn't matter.
Minnesota beat Washington, but it didn't matter for us.
