I'm going to have to go with Lamont Brightful after that atrocious three fumble performance against the Bengals in 2004.

Your thoughts?

Two more candidates would be Scott Schwedes and Charlie Rogers. I'd mention Terrence Wilkins, but he didn't even make the final cut.

ya i went with brightful also...didnt we keep him on the team to return punts and kicks and he was terrible.

Yes, he was listed as a CB/KR, but he never played on defense (thank god!). I think he was cut the day after the Bengals game where he fumbled three times. Even Wanny and Spielman knew that the guy had to go. Now that's when you know you're BAD!!!! :boohoo:

actually I'v met Lamont a few times, great guy. He had a decent year with the bengals, but was cut due to the fact he was only a returner. We picked him up, he played in what, a handful of games... He didn't do good at all, and had some big fumbles, yes. But in his defence, he isn't the "worst returner of all time". I'm sure you'd have to play more than a few games to be worst of all time

I went with Avery, man that guy was bad fielding kick, running and horrible at RB

Scott "fair catch" Schwedes, the guys hand was raised as soon as the ball left the punters foot.

Schwedes was the guy who came to my mind as soon as I read the thread title too!

:sidelol:, I voted for Brightdull

i think people are voting for brightful because hes fresh in our minds. he was aweful. i was sort of excited that we picked him up, but that quickly subsided, when i beleive the first time he fielded a kick he muffed it. he was bad no matter how many games he played for us.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Lamont was a great guy. He played for the Ravens, not the Bengals, I believe and they released him for his fumbling problems. Unfortunately, he couldn't fix them while he was in Miami. He did have talent, but he just could not hang on to the football. That three fumble performance at Cincinnati was one of the worst performances of a return man I've ever seen.
