Pun intended.

So many of you complain about the Parcells FA moves.
I love em, we've kept our starters at good prices, brought in competition and a few starters..

I love the little things, the McDaniels trade, the Berger signing, hell the Green signing isn't that bad, it's his job to lose, and not a bad no.2-3 cb option. Even though none of us believe Grove is elite, he could be, and he's much better than Satele, I wish we got a bigger C, but if he gains 10-15 lbs i'll shutup about that.. Hell he could be 280, as long as we can run it up the middle next season..

Who in your opinion was the best FA signing?

Every single one made sense. My favorite signing in the two offseasons combined is still Randy Starks. Very young. Tons of experience. Perfect measurables. Love him as a player. But if we're talking this offseason... I would say Cam Wake excites me the most, while Gibril Wilson is probably the "safest" and the best of the bunch.

Well, if we are talking about NEW acquisitions, I would definitely say Wilson. Overall, it would be bringing Yeremiah back.

i agree. i want to see what Wilson brings to our secondary but im sure we are keeping Bell for a few more years.

Vernon, he is the hardest one to replace. SS isnt as hard, average ILB=not as hard. RT, who can play LT and G is very valuable

I agree with skip. I believe its Vernon, strictly due to the demand for the position and lack of availability in both FA and the draft.

If Vernon wasn't resigned there would have been a massive hole at RT next year.

re-signing crowder, bell, and carey was huge but i went wilson. having that safety tandem next year is going to be huge for us - especially with how lame we've been against the pass.

Gibril Wilson is my favorite pick up. A safety to play alongside Yeremiah was one of the few holes in our defense and we fixed it before the draft.

yea. im glad too. but few holes?? we had/have alot of holes. pass rushing lineman, younger NT, a GREAT CB, ILB. there is not a few holes on defense.

seeing that we didnt aquair Bell, Carey, and Crowder seeing that they were on the team last year so i would go to wilson

I wouldn't say that NT is a hole. I define whole as a position where you have no capable starter. Fergie is old, but should be OK for another season. And really? Not having a shutdown corner is a hole? There are about 30 teams with that same need too if that's the case. We do need a pass rusher, since no one on our team had more than 5 sacks other then Joey Porter, but unless Maualuga were to fall into our lap, we shouldn't be looking for an ILB early.
