Active Roster
This year Training Camp was fool of young rookies and veterans trying to prove they had what it takes to play in this league. A bunch of names have shined threw camp, names like Ricky Williams, Dreke Hagan, Devone Bess, Donald Thomas, Chad Henne, David Kircus, Jake Long and Ronnie Brown. Dolfans everyone can agree last year´s Standout player was Samson Satele who began TC as a Starter at C and never relinquished the role. Now, Dolfans who is this year TC standout player. Here are the player:
Chad Henne: The Second round pick from Michigan was the best QB in camp up and until Chad Pennington was signed. He has shown a Quick Release, Good Pocket Prescence and a Great Arm.
David Kirkus: The WR who was out of the league last year has been what some have called a play maker in camp. He has shown good hand and playmaking skills, but no one expects him to more of a ST and 5th or 6th receiver
Derek Hagan: Coaches have been raving about Derek Hagan, it seems like the third year player has finally put his mind in the game and is due for a breakout year. He is listed as the second WR behind TGJ after beating Ernest Wilford for the spot.
Devone Bess: This UDFA from Hawaii has by far been the most impressive player in camp, but the same could be said about Donald Thomas. Bess has shown the best hands in camp and has been seeing time with the starters. Reports are he will be seeing time in the slot and could beat out Wilford for the third reciever spot on this team.
Donald Thomas: Our own Marques Colston was a sixth round pick from UCON, who has been the starting RG since the second week of TC. He appears to be holding on to the spot witout any signs of giving up his spot on this team. First said to be very Raw he has shown a mean streak and an awesome punch.
Jake Long: The 1st Overall pick from this year draft has been very quite in camp, but that is usually a great thing when you are a rookie OL. The Vets are said to be very high on him and I have yet to hear him give up a sack. The guy is gonna be a solid pick for years to come.
Ricky Williams: My favorite Dolphin and Pothead. Given Ricky´s age and past problems nobody believed he would come back like he has, but Ricky has proven doubters wrong once again. Ricky has shown he is the best player on this team and last Saturdays game he showed why he can still be an elite RB in this league.
Ronnie Brown: Last years best weapon and player has come back from an ACL injury and shown no signs of not being ready for the opener. Ronnie has been cutting and running on the knee all TC and has looked really good. Can Ronnie return to the season he was having last year, we all hope so.
Its up to all of you Dol-Fans pick who is your Standout player of this year TC
