What I mean by regarless of position is you can pick 2 LB's or whoever you want.If we get 100 replys we won't get the same 5 guys.I just went thru all the players and you can make an argument for most of them not to be there.CC,great year but in his best game he had 4 droped passes,Zack's had a great year but missed some games...Crowder's had a fine year but missed some games...Ronnie's had a fine year but missed the 2nd half 3 weeks ago, the whole game last week and this week he didn't play much...Ricky didn't do much early on tho he came on later on...the o-line is been ok but HH gets much of the credit...Randy's season hasn't been all that great...Gus...never mind...up and down with him.....Booker's season's also been up and down....Holliday and Carter have done a good job as well as Traylor....Lance's been ok imo...anyway...here goes my 5.

Ronnie Brown
Ricky Williams
CC
Taylor
Zack

I think overall they have been the most consisten when they've been out there...they one I hate leaving out is Crowder.

I don't see any way anyone could leave off JT and Zack. After that though it could go alot of different ways. I would go with Traylor who was the main cog in our great short yardage D. Although he got hurt he was still a big part of our success. Next I would go with Jeno James or Rex Hadnot. Both had solid years and really turned around a Oline that went from 2nd worst to top 12 in the league. Last I would go with Lance at FS. He was solid in run support and made great instinctive plays at the most critical moments. I was at the Carolina game when he picked off that pass. It was my favorite play of the season.
I would also honorable mentions would have to go to Gus, Booker, and Madison.

:yeahthat: also, don't forget that great job that Donnie Jones did the season. I know punters usually get over looked and rightfully so, but, Donnie did a solid job this year...

1) Chris Chambers
2) Ricky Williams
3) Jason Taylor
4) Zach Thomas
5) Ronnie Brown

CHambers was fire for those 3 Weeks, but besides that I'd hardly call him consistant.

My Top 5

Channing Crowder (You Gotta Love his play and attitude)
Ronnie Brown
Lance Schulters
Jason Taylor
Zach Thomas

Jones, Welker, Mare, and Chambers are close after....

I can't believe people have Schulters on a top 5 list. Schulters on a top 10 would make more sense.

Nice Reality check here with giving the heart and soul of our defense the #1 spot. JT defenitely next and CC 3rd. Next I have to say Ronnie Brown. Last I will give to Lance Shulters who had 4 INT's and started from the get go while coming into the system late. Played every game I think.
