Who were the 10 best performers for the Miami Dolphins during that decade?

This is my list:
  1. Jason Taylor
  2. Zach Thomas
  3. Ricky Williams
  4. Sam Madison
  5. Pat Surtain
  6. Chad Pennington
  7. Chris Chambers
  8. Ronnie Brown
  9. Jay Fiedler
  10. Yeremiah Bell

Damn, this is a really hard list to make. Half my list only played a few years with the Dolphins during this decade.

Orande Gadsen, jake long, lamar smith, vernon carey,

Good list. Brock Marion belongs in there somewhere. he was a 3 time pro bowler that decade with us. Maybe Tim Bowens too. Pro bowler in 02 I believe.

Idk about your list. I do know Jake Long would be on mine.

He was only on the team for 3 of those seasons, one of which when he was a rookie, and the team really didn't have much success during those years. But ya, he might belong at the bottom of the list somewhere.

Definitely belongs on the list, he has been nominated for 2 pro bowls...

How can Ricky be so low if he was one of the longest tenured during this decade and had ridiculous seasons and numbers?

I didn't really think about putting an order to them, but if I did, I'd keep the top 5 the same and put him at 6. JT is a hall of famer, and Zach is on the cusp but probably won't make it. Madison and Surtain were absolutely scary and fun to watch. Big Jake is young but he has the potential to make it to Canton if he can stay healthy. Can't help but be a little sore about Ricky's suspensions and retirement. He honestly could have been the best running back in the league for many years, but football wasn't his priority so I guess I can't fault him for that.

JT>ZT>Madison>Surtain>Long>Williams>Marion>Chambers>Brown>Mare

People might also wonder why I don't have Ronnie higher, and honestly other than 2006 and 2008, I felt he was disappointing.

Tim Bowens, Matt Turk, Gadsden get my honorable mentions.

1. Zach Thomas
2. Jason Taylor
3. Ricky Williams
4. Daunte Culp.....just kidding... Patrick Surtain
5. Chris Chambers
6. Sam Madison
7. Brock Marion
8. Jake Long
9. Tim Bowens
10. Ronnie Brown

Not a bad list...but I would put Vernon Carey over Y. Bell......Carey was one of our few first round picks within the past decade that wasn't a bust. He played over 100 games on the O-line at a high level.

In no particular order, here is my list:

Jason Taylor
Zach Thomas
Sam Madison
Patrick Surtain
Randy McMichael
Chris Chambers
Ricky Williams
Tim Bowens
Daryl Gardener
Brock Marion

1. Jason Taylor
2. Zach Thomas
3. Ricky Williams
4. Sam Madison
5. Patrick Surtain
6. Brock Marion
7. Ronnie Brown
8. Yeremiah Bell
9. Chad Pennington
10. Jake Long

Pennington served us well and was a good guy. Jake is young and in his prime, no need to be up higher. I wasn't sure to use Brown or Chambers, both were decent but overhyped. They were loyal to us for the most part though.
