idk why ppl dont want to give pepper another chance...i mean in his defense he never really got a fair shot imo...he was never fully recovered...i would wait to see how a 100% pepper can do...
 
I think it's WAY too early to be talking about that. It would be nice if CPep were able to step up and be the QB we paid for, but at this point I'm not sure if that's going to happen. Regardless I think he will at least be given a shot at winning the spot. I think the rest of the QB roster is up for grabs. We'll see how much Cam thinks of Joey and Lemon (and Dante for that matter) very soon. I still think he'll add someone else to the mix (in place of one or more of the three). Whether that's via the draft or F/A will remain to be seen. Ultimate point here is that there's a lot of ground to cover before we even know who our 3 or 4 QB's on the roster will be, let alone who will be the starter. Let the fun begin !

It's because most of America's youth has zero patience! In their instant gratified, egocentric world 4 games was more than enough for them to say Daunte is finished.

Cam will get him back to a high level. He did it for Randel El, Brees, Rivers, and Frerotte!
 
Culpepper, no questions about it.

I think he'll look into a day 1 QB, but not to start off the bat.

Unless Quinn or Russell is there, we're not taking one in round 1.
 
Isn't Joey scheduled to make $10 million or so this year. If so, I highly doubt he will be on the roster unless he agrees to restructure his contract.
 
i say culpepper 100 percent!BUT WE MUST DRAFT A QB NO MATTER WHAT IN THE 2007 DRAFT!

Yeah with Mularkey. He's the closest in styles to Brees while Lemon is the closest to Rivers. Daunte is a different type of QB from what Cam has coached in the past so I'm going with styles he's familiar with. He was better here than in Detroit and he should be better under Cameron if he stays. Whatever Cam chooses though I'm cool with. I trust his judgement when it comes to QBs unlike Saban. Cam's track record with QBs leads me to believe whoever he chooses will be the best option for our offense

:lol: Funny that this came in response to a 17 year old that has more patience than most of the bitter old men on here.

Anyways, a healthy Culpepper, without a doubt.
