obviously chambers and booker will be the #1 and #2.

Who do you think our #3 will be?

Wes Welker
Campbell
Derek Hagan

Campbell, he has chemistry with Daunte, has the best production numbers and is a speedster who can stretch the field.

I think it will depend on the situation. Welker excelled at certian times, Campbell has good skills. I think Hagen is being groomed as the #2 for next year and will have alot of plays.

Steven Wine, of the Associated Press, reports <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/22/nfl">Miami Dolphins rookie WR Derek Hagan is currently expected to be the team's No. 3 wide receiver behind WRs Chris Chambers and Marty Booker.

I think Hagan will prove his worth and eventually will become a starter along with Chambers.I say Hagan will find himself on the field alot.

well, if Hagan is it, then what happens with welker and campbell.

they're both good, and i would hate for them to not get much playing time. i guess it's good to know that we've got a little depth at WR.

Saban hinted at reducing Welker's role in his own way saying that Welker needs to focus more on special teams.

Welker drastically tailed off the last half of the season gaining only 107 yards in the final 7 games. His average kick return was down over half a yard per and his punt returns were down over 1 1/2 yards per.

I expect Hagan to battle Campbell for the third WR spot. Hagan has the better credentials and will likely win the battle but it should be interesting given Culpepper's familarity with Campbell.

Welker will be the PR/KR man almost exclusively.

An interesting note is while the loser of the third WR battle will probably make the team as the fourth WR, he may not see the field. The Phins have often had one WR on the inactive list using DB's and LB's on special teams. Since Welker will be the RS, the fourth receiver may spend a lot of Sundays inactive.

Actually, if Kelly returns to his previous form, Welker may be the odd man out, or at least have a reduced role as our #5 reciever. Hagan is a beast. A very productive reciever...he may be Booker's eventual replacement...Campbell, well as I said it all depends on whether he can return to his 2004 form...

i think it will be a huge battle between the three players in training camp but i can see it comming to hagan vs. kelly and having wes return punts and kelly return kickoffs and eventually derek hagan winning the 3 rd wr spot
