I've read threads about WRs and CBs all over, Now that Ginn is our No.1 Receiver and Bess No.2..... Who will be returning Kicks?? I have read about this Kid Anthony Armstrong, but how fast is he???

I remember last year vs KC Cobbs did a very nice job,

any thoughts???

My guess is Bess will do punts and Bess and Cobbs will do kicks. Although Hartline is a possibility.

I think Ginn should do kick returns. The guy is so dangerous back there. If he gets some open space you know he's taking it to the house. There's not another player on the team I feel that way about. Bess or Hartline I would say will do the punt returning.

Ginn certainly is our biggest threat to take one all the way, but it's more important that he focuses on offense now.

With the new rules on Kick offs I would like to see Ginn back there again. Steve Smith returns punts for the panthers so I don't think Ginn being our #1 should keep him from being a ST guy.

Also I got Ginn as my 3rd WR on my fantasy team this year and don't have a returner. So he could get me the points I need if they let him start returning kicks. Not sure if Tony S is aware of this developement, but if someone was to tell him I have Ginn on my fantasy team then that might be the deciding factor.

I would still have Ginn on kick returns every now and then. Bess wasn't very good at either last year in my opinion. So I don't know where that leaves us...?

Sounds about right. They are playing the FA rookie Chris Williams back there alot so it will be interesting to see if they play him in the preason there and perhaps he makes the practice squad based on his ablilties.

Smith has returned 12 punts for Carolina over the last three seasons combined. He's not been their primary returner for a while now. And he never returns kicks.

Heck, the Bears aren't even using Hester on returns anymore. Though that might be more due to the fact that he was garbage at it last year (and Danieal Manning was great) than the fact that he's their #1 receiver.

Imho, Ginn on kicks, Bess on punts. But yeah, Hartline is still a possibility.

The coaching staff should relax with trying to turn Ginn into a #1 and let the guy do what he's good at. I honestly don't think that Ginn can be a true #1. I think that he can be a pretty good receiver, but that shouldn't stop the coaching staff from using him where he is most dangerous, in the return game. Regardless of what you're standing is with the team, if you have a quality that can be utilized to make the team better (like Ginn has on returns) then you should do it.
If you remember, the Pats used to use Bruschi on special teams during their super bowl runs when he was in his prime.
