Each year we know what we are going to get out of certain players. We all know Jason Taylor and Zach Thomas will be studs. If Daunte is healthy, we know he's going to be good.

My question is, which player is the most important in terms of "making or breaking" this team? Which player will either carry us to glory, or be the main the main cause of failure?

I think it is Ronnie Brown. Without him, we are going to be an average football team, at best. With him we could be one of the top teams in the league. I personally think he will have a breakout year and carry us to the AFC championship game.

What are your guys' thoughts?

with so many new faces it's hard to say who will be the spark..Ronnie's gonna do what ronnie does, he show us that last year..If anything, I think it's the person who takes charge in the secondary that will be the difference in our season. The rest of the team as far as starters are pretty well known in what they can do.

Exactly right. I believe it will be the Allens. Will and Jason must have good years or else we will see a repeat of last seasons pass defense. I have faith in the 2 of them to produce.

Ronnie Brown will come into his own this year and blossom into a magnificent battering ram wwhich will be used to pummell the opposition.

Ronnie's too easy a choice,so I went with Channing on D.Oh and looking at the poll results I'm alone on this one.:dolphins:

My vote is for Culpepper. I see him putting up another huge season and opening up the running lanes for Brown.

Derek Hagan
Derek Hagan will probably have 20-30 catches tops this year. No way he steps in and makes a huge immediate impact. He will not make a huge difference in weather our team is a contender on not.

If you read my original post you saw that I said I didn't include Culpepper because he is one of the guys I pencil in for a solid season. You can can't on Daunte to perform year in and year out so therefore he is left off the list.

i believe shelton could be the catalyst....if he can become a very good left tackle he would help our oline and our offensive game with the run blockin and pass protecting to give culpepper time to deliver and brown room to run...this will help our offense take off and help us win more games with our solid defense orchestrated by saban and capers...i think shelton is a huge piece to our team that helps determine how successful we will be this year

Personally, I think Daunte is a better qb than Ronnie Brown is a rb, but Ronnie has ooodles of potential. The qb will be the driving force of success or failure though.

Sometimes the best spark in an offense or a game is when the #3 WR starts coming up big in an already balanced offense. For Hagan, it's not so much how many catches he makes but where and when he makes them.

Yeah I guess you are right because we already know that if Pep is in that he can perform and we know Ronnie has the talent and so do our recievers. We also know that we are just a signing or so away from a solid front seven so I would say the balance of our team does rest in the improvement of our secondary. Good insight.

Oh yeah,we also know that our line has improved and will continue to do so under coach Houk so no worries there either.

i have a feeling that marty booker is gonna break out this year back into his old form from chicago. he has sure hands and is just waiting for a decent qb to throw him the rock. enter: Dante Culpepper.
