Who will have more rushing yards this week, Melvin Gordon or Aajayi?

I am going to be optimistic (maybe more so then I should be) and say we hold Gordon in check. I say we hold him under 85 yards rushing for the game. I think Jay will have a good game, assuming Rivers doesn’t light up us and make it into a full blown game of catchup. I think Jay will go for 130 plus, which if he does then we win the game. If he ends up being a nonfactor, then I think the Chargers most likely hung 35 plus on us and we get blown out.

Hard to tell at this point. A lot will depend on how the game is going. I believe the last 3 games Ajayi had 25, 25 and 24 as far as carries. Maybe I'm wrong but it's close to that. If he has that many carries then he'll be around 120 for the day. I don't trust our defense to stop Gordon for two reasons. First, he's pretty good to start with but the main reason is they have Rivers and we can't sell out to stop Gordon or Rivers will have a field day with our DB's. Our best defense in SD will be to control the football with our run and short passing game. We need bootlegs and play action plays to our TE's from time to time. We won 3 in a row at home which it's what we should do if we're going to be any good but in order to make the playoffs or just in order to truly become a good team, we need to win on the road.

Gordan has put up three 100 plus yard games this year. They were vs Jax, Den and Ten.

Denver is ranked 30th vs the run this year. Jax 24th and Ten is 10th but have the 4th fewest rushing attempts against them.

I would bet on Ajayi all day long.

Jay has been amazing. 1000 yard back this year easy.

It will be a fun match up, both teams will try to run it down each others throats and then surprise with a bomb here or there.

I think that Jay will win the yardage matchup, but not by much...
