With Berger coming back and McIntosh being avaliable, could Jacox's horrid play open up a chance for McIntosh or Berger this week?... I watched last weeks game on TIVO and Jacox missed WAY to many assignments.... Berger looked great in TC and preseason... McIntosh was underrated last year and im sure could do much better than Jacox did last week... So, Jacox, McIntosh, or Berger?....

you just don´t plug in a T as a RG in the nfl, i don´t even know that dmac was ever mentioned to be in the mix at the guard position, this is the real nfl no madden, also i highly doubt that berger could just come in and play at game speed after beeing out for so long, in the end i think we have to give jacox another shot and have alabi back him up

i thought berger was a couple of weeks from coming back

i know the team said he would be starting practice but isnt he a couple weeks away from playing?

I haven't heard anything about moving D-Mac to guard but Ilike the sound of that better than moving Alabi there. Berger probably isn't ready to play yet so my guess would be Jacox starts again. He'll get better every week. Remember, he was just signed a couple weeks ago. It takes time to learn a new offensive system.

Jacox gets the start until berger is totally healthy and until whittacer learns our blocking schemes!!

Well we plugged in Glass Joe Toledo after never playing the G position and many were convinced(only on this board) that he was easily going to be the starter. Alabi has no experience at G at this level so mcintosh could just as easily pick it up as him. We need to get our most talented people in the game and if that means Mcintosh playing guard so be it.

At this point, I want Wilkinson or Traylor to go in.

RG is awful for us. We cannot make the playoffs without a decent interior line, and we are far from decent.

BERGER won't likely be truly ready until after the break ... 'maybe for GB'

Not sure if Jacox played for Houck in San Diego or not ... but would believe that unless Alabi proves to be an upgrade .... Jacox will stay until Berger is ready ...

The bottom line is that our line problems go deeper than just RG ... if that were the case, we could scheme to mitigate the problem ...

IF C & RT were good to go ... then we could compensate for lack luster RG play ... the WHOLE line is playing average .... and its nearly impossible to compensate for that ...
