it's a question my dad asked me. he actually asked me "who will trade with you?", because he's a bills fan.

anyway, my opinions of what we will do in the draft are very much influenced from what i read on here. a lot of people say draft brady quinn and thats valid. i actually was never sure that he would fall to us, and now i'm thinking he probably will not but you never know.

so, my question regards more to if we decided to trade down, which seems like a more attractive offer the more i think about it.

I really think it could be the titans, jags, or the bengals. one of those young teams that would really like to have a big name coming out of college. but there's always some kind of trade.

It depends on who is available to be honest. I don't know of anyone actively pursuing a top 10 pick, unless they are looking to make it in the top 5. I know the Bears might be looking to trade up, especially with the Thomas Jones trade. the Jets want to trade up, but any deal with them would include Vilma, and they wouldn't trade with us.

We all see the comments about trading down if so and so doesn't fall to us. Frankly, unless a great player that someone really wants falls, no one will give us proper value to move down. Being at #9, I see it as unlikely that one of the top 5 guys falls where we have a lot of suitors. Most teams now are looking to trade up above number 9 to get at CJ, Quinn, or Peterson. I can see an outside chance that teams are in love with Landry or Okoye after the combine where we can get some real value.

You know, just New England making all these bold moves in FA and having two number ones, I could see NE dealing those two for Landry or someone. Still not likely but i could see it.

HIGHLY doubt NE gives us a pair of first rounders. Trading in divisions is very rare, frankly the Welker thing surprises me. Draft trading is even rarer-you never want to take the chance that you could end up being burned twice a year.

I wouldnt be surprised to see NE make a move, but not with us. Honestly, I see us maybe moving up, not down, assuming we will move at all. We will almost certainly stand pat and take someone at 9 though.

Going over the draft order and the depth at certain positions...there is definitely no teams that will be interested in moving up to #9.

I dont see a team giving up a valuable first day pick to move up just for Laron Landry when Reggie Nelson will still be available.

Same thing with WR and OT. There isnt going to be a team giving up another valuable first day pick to move up for say Ginn Jr when Meachem will be available. Or Brown when Staley or Kalil will be available.

Is Branch or Okoye worth giving up another first day pick to move up for? I dont see it. I dont think teams value NTs "that" much. Plus Tyler will be there.

So MIA fans are going to have to face the reality that "WE AINT TRADING DOWN".

We are just going to have to fill our main leftover need at #9.

This is why I think that Branch, Okoye, or Brown are the only logical possible picks at #9.

Then at #40 we probably pick Sears, Grubbs, or maybe Kalil will still be available. Then at #60, we draft the best availabe OT.
