Bills brought in a career backup, in addition to a rookie QB. Jets are rebuilding. Fins lost Suh, but get Tannehill back. Brady is 41 for the Pats, and Edelman will be suspended for the first four games.

Thoughts?

My heart says the Dolphins but my money doesn't.....lol

While I wouldn’t put money on it, I really do think Phins this year. At worst if we don’t win it I think the division crown will come down to the final week.

are you really asking this? the last time the patriots haven't won it was when Brady was hurt the whole year. That was 10 years ago.

why are people acting like Edleman being suspended is anything at all? did you forget he was out all last year and they went to the superbowl?

To be fair they had Danny playoff Amedola. And cooks who is also gone. Plus Brady is 41 and is gonna hit the wall very soon. Showed signs last year

I think Brady is slowing down has been said like the last 5 years. In 2006 Brady's top WR was Reche Caldwell, and they ended up 12-4 with the 7th best scoring offense so losing Edelman is not that big of a deal. They still have the best coach in the NFL and even if Brady slows down and is no longer a top 2 QB he's still very likely a top 6 QB. We lost Suh and have question marks at DT, which means we very well are gonna have a bad run defense and also Bill Belichick and Tom Brady are still alive and well and work for the Pats.

Age is undefeated. Brady has an insane workout and health regime but he's still human. It happened to Peyton. Jordan, Kobe and all the greats

And i hope to god that happens this year. So sick of those guys. But it's never mattered with Brady/Belicheck. They just plug in new guys and keep winning.

People seem to want to discount this fact of life when it comes to Brady and the Patriots. For some reason they believe because something hasn't happened yet that it never will. Just illogical thinking by some.

To be fair its hard to predict and when people predict it every year it gets old. It will happen eventually though

True, however the older Brady gets the more likely it is to happen. IMO without Brady that is not a playoff team. Without Brady and Gronk IMO that team, even with Belichick, would struggle to win 6 games. We shall see what happens this year.
