I would've done this poll after a win in Buffalo b/c if Miami loses, this site will go into complete meltdown mode.

For so many years we have entered the season without any semblance of hope. We knew that the talent put together by Jeff Ireland was inferior to the Patriots. As others have said, when we did beat the Patriots it almost seemed as if it was done with smoke and mirrors. The game last week was a potential swing point. We beat the Patriots because we had the better talent on the field. What Dennis Hickey has done in putting together a new offensive line was a minor miracle. And unlike the year where we beat the Patriots because of the Wildcat, the Patriot's had film on Lazor's offense and still could not stop us. Wow!

The game against the Bills is crucial. In recent memory the Bills have been our Kryptonite, a team designed from the ground up to take advantage of the Dolphin's weaknesses. If we can beat the Bills on the road we will know that what happened against New England was not an abberration, was not an accident. Beat Buffalo and we will finally once again be legitimate contenders for the AFC Championship. For the first time in years I have legitimate hope for this team. What a welcome change.

It's been one game. Division goes through new england until proven otherwise.

At some point sooner than later, the aging Brady and bad drafts will bite the pats and they will fall off their afc east thrown. I predict either this year or next. Brady will NOT be dominant in his 40s, especially with that oline we saw last week.

Love the thinking, but it;s been one game. This is New England's division until someone takes it.

If Miami beats Buffalo, and Minnesota beats New England today (my upset special), then I'll start thinking about this more in depth.

On today's evidence the Bills are a lot closer to the Pats than us. The Bills on paper are pretty stacked. Best DL, great RBs, Watkins and Woods will be excellent. There are not many weak links in their team, year after year of high draft picks have allowed them to pick up some talent. The pats still win it though, but maybe the Bills will get a wildcard this year.

it's still very early, Buff does this a lot. They tease and tease and tease, I want to see them out together a complete season before I say they can challenge NE but there's no doubt they are very talented.

If Buffalo can go to NE and win then I'd say they have a great shot. Junc is right though, they sometimes do start off well but then fade away.

Way too early to say anyone but Miami. We lost players early in the season. After the bye I see us getting healthy and the team will bounce back after a Buffalo loss with a win against The Chiefs.
