Hmm? Was wondering. If we draft a young ILB in say the 2nd round to groom behind either Crowder or Lewis...who would cost more to sign? Crowder, coming off a very good season and is young...or Lewis, who although coming off a great season is like 99 years old?

Maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to sign Ray Lewis instead of Channing Crowder, "if", we plan on drafting a MLB to groom behind him...which we will probably do anyways...

i doubt ray lewis is going anywhere anyways, but we would prob have to commit more years to crowder then we would to lewis. i would take a shot on lewis for sure IF he became available because he is a big time team leader just like peezy, and he has that killer instinct mentalitty about him which i like. even though he is not as good as he used to be, he is still a guy who makes big plays at his age. in the end i think we will resign crowder to like a 5 yr deal worth 30 mil.

Lewis would definately cost more. And you cant even compare the two. Ray Lewis is one of the NFLs greatest linebackers.

Lewis would be alot more expensive.. But as someone wrote earlier, you can't compare them because Ray is one of the best LBs all-time.. And I think he will stay in Baltimore until he calls it a career..

Who cares and of course it would be Ray Lewis. Why would we sign an aged Ray Lewis when we have a 25 year old guy that has been starter since day one and can play outside and inside and is improving every year.
As for Peterson why sign a 32 year old linebacker that has not made an impact in three years, get serious.

crowder and karlos dansby would be a better question adn even tho dansby would cost more, he costs more for a reason, there is no way we should keep crowder the 3-4 padds his stats and he is always out of position.

Convict Ray ain't going to play in Miami.

I hope that after the poor season Chowder the dancer had he won't be getting an offer from the Tuna.

Dont bother anymore, most people in here just fill their minds with ignorance.

Dont get your hopes up, Lewis isnt going anywhere. Bart Scott is the most likely Baltimore linebacker we could land.

I hardly think a 92 tackle season by a linebacker is a very good season.

It was 92 solo tackles and he is 11th amongst linebackers with only playing 15 games . . . More than likely finishes top 5 if he plays against the Chiefs and that spread offense.
