Who would you pick as our top 5 players this year?

1. Grimes
2. Vernon
3. Clay
4. Odrick
5. Fields

Would put Patterson on here if he had played more than half the games.

That says anything about the overall talent level on this team. We don't have 1 elite guy on our roster outside of our punter. We do not have 5 people on this team that would start for teams like Seattle.

Compared to last year, we upgraded at corner and wr and either stayed the same or downgraded everywhere else.

pouncey wallace wake solia odrick starks just the obvious ones
 
I'm a little worry that it's easier to find 5 bottom players on our team than top 5. I'm talking about performance this year.

can't believe how few have Odrick on their list. He has been an outstanding player this season
 
1) Grimes (Top 4 corner in the NFL)
2) Clay (he is 6th in the NFL)
3) Vernon (on pace for 14 sacks this year)
4) Tannehill (I think he is our guy)
5) Wake (still our best player, but injured.. imagine he was not out there at all, would vernon be doing so well?)

Almost made it list
Hartline, more TD's and he makes the list.

Could still make it if he keeps things up
Wallace, If he can come close to keeping pace with his last two weeks he will be over 1100 with 6 or 7 TDS
 
I'd say Odrick and Grimes have been the true standouts for us. We've had nice play from players like Wake, Starks, Solai, Hartline, Tannehill, Clay, Wallace, Clemons, and Vernon, but I don't think any of them have been standouts on their own.

Last season it was Reshad Jones who was pretty overrated around here... then in the offseason it was Chris Clemons who got super overrated... now, judging by this thread, looks like Vernon is getting all the hype.

I love it when our guys over achieve but don't get too worked up calling him a top 5 player for this team. He's been solid, but also part of the reason our run defense has been suspect. He deserves an honorable mention for his performance, for sure. And if he can repeat this again next year then we'll know he's for real.
 
wallace has taken allot of pressure off of hartline , gibson, matthews & clay

and denney never messes up a snap on st

tannehill, clay, vernon, grimes, wallace/ denney
